I agree. WaveBoy needs to turn it down a few notches.

I played the New 3DS at my local game store. The super stable 3D is impressive, but (maybe) because of the lightning conditions, the system would sometimes blur the 3D, even if I was looking head on at the screen. Also, the C-Stick is an immobile nub that tracks your thumb. That's very cool. And finally, MM3D looks very well designed. Well done, Nintendo!

The 3D face tracking uses an infrared camera, so lighting conditions could very well affect how it works. It still works at night - that's when I do most of my gaming, so that's nice.

I wasnt sure i was going to upgrade but...

my GF is traveling to the states in April, yes same month Xenoblade 3DS comes out, perfect time to see if Nintendo decides to launch a Xenoblade 3DS Bundle and would buy even if they dont, its so much cheaper there that its a non brainer

(not to mention i save A LOT of money by doing so)

I got to wait until April now to get mine and the sucky thing is my Pokemon XL bit the bullet this week. when I tried to turn it on, it made a popping sound. going to cost me $125 plus tax to fix it and I have a big bill to pay next week. I wish I didn't have to shell out $260 for this thing. I am not having the best of luck this year so far with electronics. my gamepad has been out of commission for over a month now too, which is costing $99 plus tax to get fixed. I can't seem to catch a break

@Waveboy That's because over here in the west we want our devices to look slick and cool and not like kids toys.

@Waveboy That's because Nintendo of America don't want people to waste their money on something that shouldn't even cost 2$ on something that we had since the NES days (coughstickerscough). Also, you could just get a special Edition N3DS.

So, my Ambassador 3DS has a scratch already despite only being used a couple of times. I have very purposely avoided using my N3DS because I was waiting on a case from Japan to be delivered. I've checked it today and low and behold I've got a scratch which I can only assume is from the bottom screen. It's annoyed me to no end but I would very much like to know if anyone has experienced something similar?

If this is a continuation of the problem that the 3DS suffered then I very disappointed in Nintendo's attitude.

The problem hasn't been resolved yet and I've heard scratches are still happening on all models. The problem is pocket use and even book bags. You say you haven't been using it much but you must be applying some pressure of some type to get those scratches. Get screen protectors before it gets worse.

My New 3DS has shipped! Now I'm waiting for UPS to process it and give me a delivery date.

Scratches on the screens like in the original 3DS? Too bad that Nintendo hasn't improved that after four years. Very bad, Nintendo.

I will be joining the Nintendo family next month! I should have been getting a N3DS for my Birthday next week but due to car issues I will have to wait.
I am just trying to work out what games to play first!

I found a glasses repair kit at my local Walgreens 10 minutes away. That cut my trip in half as Walmart (and Gamestop) are about double that.

It's not a philips head but it's a flat head so it shouldn't matter.

I've had a 0 and a 00 screw driver for quite a while. I decided to take the back cover off my current XL and boy is it dirty back there. Might as well clean it.

Tomorrow morning when I wake up! Whoo! I am so stoked. I've always been a fan of the 3D, but it doesn't work all that great as we all know. Since everyone has been saying the new 3D is great, I'm so excited. Majora's Mask and Monster hunter baby! My body is ready.

I did have a 3DS for a small period of time so I have played Ocarina of Time. I left the family for a while because i felt the direction Nintendo were going did not suit me. The N3DS has opened my eyes again

I won't be able to get my New 3DS til tomorrow afternoon, as I have a night job and I'll be sleeping until about....well normally it's about 1pm but I find when I'm super excited about something I tend to get up before my 1:00 alarm at 12pm.
