Topic: New 3DS

I'll be able to do one late Friday, if you'd like.
I'll put all three, plus my DS Lite and DSi if I can find them.

@WaveBoy I'm going to buy the regular New 3DS.

@ZeD, yep, same here, I was disappointed by 3DS and 3DS XL models and now I'm going for the regular New 3DS, which I believe to be the perfect model, much like the DSi. Fortunately, I always sell the older model.

@luisesteban I agree, Luigi's Mansion 2 (Dark Moon in America) is awesome, better than 1 in my opinion. A Link Between Worlds is not favourite Zelda game but it's a good game, nevertheless.

Not very happy at the mo was playing mm last nite on the new mm 3ds & 3 times in a row it crashed takeing me to to the off screen

Just got mine!! Use a flat screwdriver for unscrewing its screws if needed. They work better than Phillips screwdrivers.

The regular New Nintendo 3DS screens are just PERFECT! Perfect for the 3DS resolution and very bright!

I believe you got a faulty game. Get it replaced.

Anyone went to the midnight release? I did and this new XL is absolutely gorgeous. The face tracking 3d works so flawlessly you never need to turn it off now!!

Yep, I got the 3D on even for setting the console.

And the handheld says that it tracks your eyes, not your face as has been said on many websites. Eyes.

It was already preloaded on the system

delete it off of the XL and then redownload it. if that doesn't work, then you might have to send it into Nintendo or return it to the store.

I don't have any of them any more, but I'd say that it's slightly brighter than the (older) 3DS XL.

Sounds like it's the 5th brightness of the original 3ds then. I'll take that!

New 3DS day here in the States and Europe!!!! So...any first impressions, folks??? Getting Majora today, but no New XL. I'm going to hold until July or August, see what e3 has in store for the New 3DS, before I get one. Still pissed at NOA for the dumbest decision of the century (and if you know NOA thats a pretty tall order to beat some of their other decisions...). Sounds like there are some of the usual day one problems, hope those aren't to bad, sounds pretty isolated so far. Either way guys, have fun!

Boohoo... and I have to wait I don't know to get a N3DS...

There's just too many games for Wii U that I have to buy, or catch up on for me to justify getting a new 3ds XL. I still have the old 3DS, which works great, but meeeeh. Launch hype man. Freaking launch hype. This forum is Nintendo's best form of marketing in my case.

The super-stable 3D works both horizontally and vertically, if you were wondering. It tracks your eyes perfectly. I don't know how it works for people with glasses. The regular New 3DS feels pretty like the DSi in my hands and I love that. The screens size is perfect for 3DS resolution. I love this model (and my hands aren't small).

The only issue I have is that it doesn't read the games in the micro SD card and I did everything as explained in the guide. I could re-download them but I don't want to do that because I'd miss my save files (right?) and it will take forever to download. I made a copy in the PC so I'll try to erase and copy again to the microSD card. Anyone else with this issue?

Also, for your information, the DSi titles are transferred to the SD during the systems transfer.

Yeah, I never realized how much I love the smaller size until I got my hands on my New 3DS Ambassador Edition

Yeah, they just have the perfect size and I think this model is more comfortable to hold than my old 3DS XL. I am very happy except for my missing games... :S
