Topic: New 2ds XL frozen on select language screen?

This might be me being dumb, but I just ordered a New 2ds XL, brand spanking new (Well, as new as it can get, refurbed and reliable seller.) it came in today and turned on just fine however when i was faced with the select language screen it wouldn’t take any input. I tried using my fingers to tap the screen, tried both the A and Select button, additionally both the arrow buttons and joystick didn’t change which language was highlighted. Any suggestions?

Contact Nintendo and set up a repair. The service is really good. They can give a quote too about how much it will cost to fix it unless the warranty is still good.
