Topic: My 3DS just updated (7.1.0-15)...

...seems there's a little update, today. Nothing to get excited over, it seems... just one of the little "system integrity" ones. So, just a heads up.

PLEASE release the stupid Bank already Nintendo! T.T
I was going to say Japan got an update whenever the Bank/Transporter was re-released, but ended up misreading it, bleh.

@Mizore I will admit I got my hopes up a bit for Pokémon Bank when the eShop told me there was an update, but then it downloaded really fast so I knew it was nothing.

I'm guessing at this point they're waiting until tomorrow...kinda wished they would just release it now, but... :/

Nintendo of Europe commented that they still need to monitor how things hold up in Asia before they decide to release it themselves, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a release tomorrow anywhere.

Yes, release Pokemon Bank to all the regions after the disaster last month.

...tomorrow is pushing it to the limit... I'd be surprised to see it before the end of January... I'm expecting sometime around January 31st at the very soonest.

This might turn into a clone of that Super Mario Bros 3 situation for North America. I'm on the Eshop in my 3DS and Super Mario Bros. 3 has been in Future Releases for ages now. The same might just happen to PokeBank.

I really hoped it would allow you to substitute friend codes w/ NNIDs, but that's too good to be true. I guess I'll have to wait.

Yes, that is why they keep telling us it is coming soon.

Yes, it is stupid.

Of course it is it could be implemented entirely offline without ongoing costs. (They have already had a whole boatload of money from people with say 3 games that work with it). Or just save the file to something using webdav. The hassle they are having is of their own making.
