This happened to my DSi too. I'm wondering if you can send it in to Nintendo to get a new stylus or something. If not, anywhere I can buy an official stylus?
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

This happened to my DSi stylus too. Just buy one of those 3DS starter kit things. They come with 3 styluses, screen protectors, and 3DS game cart cases. Only 7 or 9 bucks if I remember correctly. They're official Nintendo products, btw.

On Amazon, it says it's developed by i-CON. Are you sure it's an official Nintendo product?

I see the one you're talking about. That's not the one I'm talking about. I'm looking right now and can't seem to find it. I bought mine at Gamestop. Maybe it's some sort of exclusive thing like the CPP?
Actually, you might be able to fix it. On the black plastic part, check if the thin piece of plastic with a little bump on it is broken. If it's broken off, then you need to buy a new one. But if it's only cracked, then try wrapping a piece of tape around it. Don't wrap it around the entire stylus, just the thin plastic part (which means you need to feed the tape through the small slit in the black part). Also, if it doesn't look cracked, press on the thin plastic part to make sure. I did this with my broken stylus, and it never falls out anymore. I think it's also possible to superglue it if it's cracked, but I've never tried that myself. And if this doesn't work, then just buy a new stylus.
If the 3DS has not been discontinued SM3DL and MK7 are awesome games, but if the 3DS has been discontinued Sony has taken over the world. It is not true that both Sony has taken over the world and SM3DL and MK7 are not awesome games. Therefore:Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are...

You can buy TONS of official Nintendo styluses. Their website sells them (But they're expensive, $3.75 for 1!) but you can look for packs of them, and then look for the "Official Nintendo Seal of Quality". If it has one of those its an official stylus. I bought this set at Best Buy because I lost the stylus that came with my system so I know these are quality ones: http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/accessories/3ds-clean-an... The only difference between them, is it doesn't say "Nintendo" on the little black part at the top of the stylus. And it also is a cheap alternative to a starter kit.

Just because Nintendo didn't develop them doesn't mean they aren't official. You know the little "Nintendo Seal of Quality" on the back of games? That means it's official.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
Yeah, it happened to mine too. Just buy a new stylus. Even if its not official, it should work just fine. Its just a little piece of plastic and metal after all.

Mother 3 fan. It's an amazing game. 糸井さん、こんな素敵なゲームを作ってくれてありがとう!
there is an official Nintendo Screen Protector pack on the market here in Europe which also includes a screen cleaning cloth and a big blue stylus (DSi XL style and catalog number). BTW: I immediately replace the original stylus after i've unpacked a new handheld and keep it in the box so it will not get lost.

The only difference between Power-A's styluses and Nintendo's is that the Power-A ones do not have the Nintendo logo on them. The packaging does have the official Nintendo seal, so it is licensed.
