Guess I have to wait until I reach high rank Astalos then and upgrade my weapon. :c

I've got a couple of hours to kill, so I'll be playing online. Let me know if anyone else is up for some hunting (or if I can help someone)! I'm currently doing my HR5 urgents, so should hit HR6 pretty soon.

I'm also down for low rank quests!

Lol I can relate. I did the dual Khezu quest offline today, didn't know it was a dual quest at the time. I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I'm rearing up for a level 3 and a roar from behind me breaks my stance.

Ya. I was not a happy camper.

I started to get pissed with Shogun Ceanataur though. That bleed effect, man. I'll be doing good against him and then one miscalculation later, my health bar is draining rapidly and he won't let me squat for two seconds to recuperate without attacking me or swiping me again. That would've been a serious blow to my pride had I taken the kitty cart back to base lol.

Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to go far away from this game...far away from Capcom in general...take a vacation or something....jump into a volcano I dunno. (not really)

That monster that looks like it totally belongs in the early LR...

But will haunt your dreams after you fight it.

Don't give the employee that idea. He'll just come back with Lavasioth.

Though, can you still fish him out with a frog to start the battle off right, or use sonic bombs at any other time to persuade him to leave the water?

It's also kind of funny that he has two different hip checks: the normal, 3U "fixed" one, and a supercharged Freedom Unite ranged one with increased startup.

Though honestly, he doesn't bug me that much. Outside his absurd height making breaks (particularly the wings) difficult, he just has a polarized moveset (hipchecks and tail whips good, water beam is ridiculously terrible). He, along with Nibelsnarf also serve to remind you that pure weapon skill and strength won't solve everything.

Every time I tried fishing him out with frogs it never worked, though this was in 3U...here he seems to notice me the moment I get near him.

And yeah, the Hub isn't that hard...Plesioth was the only one there that gave me issues. Only quest I almost failed at, as well...(well, besides the Deviants...and....capture quests....lol)

@meleebrawler Heck, the game WARNS you about the latter one. It also has an AOE dustcloud showing it's hitbox.

@meleebrawler Well, of course I can kill a guild Seltas, but anything Rathian level or above in the guild is no go for me solo wise. I also never managed to do the Master's Test in 4U, which just gives me more points towards being absolutely awful at this game.

I'm pretty good at the series and haven't touched that quest either, so...lol

In freedom unite I never ever even tried touching the double rajang quest.

It's the only low rank "offline" quest I never played.
