Topic: Monster Hunter Generations (Our Toothy Lord and Savior)

People told me using the Gunlance or bombs on his tail heats it up when it's polished. Yet I keep doing this and nothing happens. :/

@Joeynator3000 Maybe it works like Agnaktor's armour, where Fire attacks can heat it up? (Gunlance shells, or at least the long versions do inflict a bit of fire). Regardless, it seems to become much more difficult for it to do so once it's damaged... the best bet might be just to get an early shock trap on it, then go all-out on it before it dulls.

I dunno, I tried everything...bleh...

I think it has to be heated in order to cut it off...but yeah people told me it worked like with Agna's armor. I tried it, it never worked, bleh. But yeah I know about hitting his throat while it's red.

Severing Glavy's tail and carving it is the only way to get Glavenus Tails (NOT tailpieces, which only require wounding it).

Yeah, that and capping it...

Thanks for hunting, guys. I just get fatigued after several hunts. Kinda odd.

I just realised that I've not posted in here enough recently.

I've had a bit of a break from Generations and have been playing lots of 3U and 4U recently, but I'll get back to Generations and do online on that before long.

@crimsontadpoles I don't quite remember: did we hunt together in 4U?

@Haru17 I don't think so. I mostly avoided multiplayer in 4U since my rank always seemed to be well below everyone else.

.......I thought Nakarkos was weak to everything. I fought him aggressively in high rank but I couldn't even break anything at all. Ended up failing because I ran out of time. -.-

@Joeynator3000 Maybe, but are they big or small weaknesses? You'll need to use your ballista ammo wisely on the shell when whacking the tentacles isn't an option, and it generally isn't wise to attempt to solo any monster like this with anything less than an (almost) fully upgraded weapon.

I did better the second time until the stupid thing cheap-shotted me TWICE in a row. I'm done with this game for now...I didn't even get a third chance against him. The moment I went back into the area I faint, I'm getting this game off of my 3DS before I end up breaking it.
