Why is there no power armor waist piece? Why is Link's armor high rank trash? Why is the Master Sword about as damaging as a hot salad fork? These questions persist.

I dunno what to say about the Varia Suit, though I'm pretty sure Capcom was just lazy to make a G-Rank version of the Link armor considering the armor hasn't changed at all from MH4.
As for the Master Sword, a hot salad fork must be really effective against large monsters since I'm able to solo with it pretty fine
I was checking the Theme shop a few minutes ago and I happened to notice that the free MH4U theme released. Not sure if it's available in Europe, but it looks really nice in both looks and the music that plays.
Oh snap the dunes from this game is the same "old desert" from the first & second generation games!
I knew it was meant to be "part of the old desert", but I randomly decided to check the original map on my vita, and it's bizarrely "the same but different". Pretty neat.
The areas look very different, but they're in the same places and with similar layouts and all.

Well, to be fair I don't think I really visited that map all that much back then (I really had no memories of how it looked like), so it's kinda like visiting a demake of the MH4U map

I think certain areas pretty much gave it away for people, and of course the music obviously. lol
Kinda wished they did a couple of other maps along with the Dunes though, was hoping for the Jungle.

Well, MHFU set the bar really high. I think that one included all the maps from the first game and one from the online game along with the MHF2 maps and a bunch of other smaller arena-like maps.
It's odd how they've limited the amount of maps since then.
