Yeah I couldn't resist. There's actually another one for sale on eBay that's a lot smaller- 14x20 I think, autographed by the series producer too. I'm debating going ahead and scooping this one up too- it's only $65.

Went ahead and bought it too. I think I would regret NOT buying it more than buying it. Money is easy- can always make more. But a rare poster like this doesn't come around often.

Think I'll hit up the custom frame shop once they arrive in the mail...

About my adventure discovering lances, I'm not too used to weapons with lower raw powers, what is a normal power for a strong lance?

Right now my stronger one is about 440~so in power.

I got it for $50 since I bought the big one from him too, but I noticed someone else's actually selling the small one with pictures of it being autographed, for even less than the one I just bought. If anyone is interested in buying that smaller autographed poster, there is one left onto eBay for $36 shipped. I guess value is in the eye of the beholder but personally I think that's a steal.

That does remind me, is there a "monster sizes" video in MH4U? I really like the one that comes with MH3U. I assume there's an unlockable one here too, but I don't really know.

I'm not sure? I actually didn't know there was one in MH3U, even having played 600 hrs. I've unlocked most of the videos in the new game but I haven't seen one with sizes yet. They've all just been the cut scenes that you see the first time you fight a monster.

Hey, I just made a new set I thought you would appreciate being a horn user. It's got Evasion+2 and Evade Extender, HG Earplugs and Windproof (Lo), Sharpness+1 and Horn Maestro. The horn is the Denden Doomsounder (the Rajang hunting horn). Purple sharpness, 1508 raw damage, 350 thunder damage, and just 3 songs. But one of those songs is Attack Up L, which is of course the best song you can have. The Knockback Protection I imagine is nice for groups though so people don't trip over each others' weapons as easily. And the Melody Durations Extended serves to keep the buffs going longer, which when combined with the Maestro skill should be fairly substantial.

We'll have to do a little hunting horn group hunt sometime

@Ralizah: I was just done watching that one! It's really great, though I guess they maybe didn't include it in MH4U. How sad.

@JaxonH: I did eye that Rajang Hunting Horn! I have it available, but seeing how it needs mostly super saiyan Rajang materials I guess I won't play it any time soon !

But with the Ukanlos horn I can add in high earplugs+wind protection, high elemental damage defense+attack and elemental blight protection to the mix if we ever go into a hunting horn rampage some day!

Speaking of the Hunting Horn, I was a pretty good Horn user myself in 3U. Though like the Gunlance, I just couldn't find the time to make an armor set. I'll probably make it soon if the Taku no Tatsujin Hunting Horn releases in the May DLC pack since it comes with some pretty nice songs. It has Attack Boost (L), Defense Boost (L), Health Boost, and Negate All Wind Pressure.

The songs are actually the same I have on my "support horn", the bagpipes-thing.

It's a little light on the raw damage and the elemental damage too, but that AuL should compensate some. And it has DuL and Negate Wind Pressure. Not a bad set of melodies. Usually you get squat else with AuL. Best thing of all is the fact it's triple slotted though.

I have the Eternal Music Box honed for Attack because the raw damage was so low, took it up to 1300, but the dragon element is a whopping 740! You find a monster weak to dragon and they're going down fast. I also love the Chaos Gore HHa- it has native HG Earplug melody (no encore needed for Hearing L, just a single recital), and the affinity reversal when overcoming the frenzy really stacks well with the 1560 raw damage. The 160 dragon is just a bonus. I also like my Fatalis Menace Soul- considerable slice of purple, 1456 raw, 530 blastblight, blight proof, elemental up, and hearing/Windproof (s) that becomes (L) with an encore recital.

But I really can't wait until G Rathian DLC drops- I think we're all waiting to upgrade our Gold Chordmaker+ to Lunar Chordmaker. What I REALLY want though, and when I say REALLY I mean exactly that, is the Rajang Long Sword- Wing of Judgemet. It's got a bar of purple the size of Long Island, 858 raw with 70 dragon, and two slots. And it's so sexy... SO sexy... But it needs 3 Goddesses Melodies which apparently aren't available yet.

I'm still trying to get all the materials to get the first gold chordmaker haha.
