I look forward to all your videos. They've helped me out quite a bit in doing buster-only runs of the robot masters so kudos to you. I'll have to wait for your Shadow Man and Needle Man runs though, as both of them have given me a lot of trouble even with save states
I really don't. The soundtrack was a letdown (Tengu Man's theme is awesome), the level design is the dullest since 6, the art style doesn't feel right to me, and the cutscenes and voices add nothing.
Other than the cramped screen I thought 7 did a better job of 'modernizing' the classic Mega Man formula even if it wasn't perfect either.

I suggest you try Mega man and Bass on either the SNES(jp ver only) or GBA. It has a similar play control as MM7 with the art style of 8, whose color tone was toned down for the better(MM8 was a bit too colorful for me). This is considered to be one of the hardest in the mega man classic games and for a good reason too. Half the robot masters can be spazzes if you don't know what you're doing and there's a certain fortress stage is too long for it's own good that it's basically made up of three sub stages. I really enjoyed this game , it has to be one of my favorites. Maybe that's because of the CD collectathon but I felt the most satisfaction from beating this game out of all the Classic series.

They also took out the god awful voices from Megaman 8 as well which was a huge plus for me.

Stay tuned...I think you'll like my Shadow Man run! It's done, but not edited yet, and I can't wait to show that one off. Shadow Man's such a nightmare!

Heh, I loved the art design, cutscenes, and (really bad) voice acting. It made the game feel awesomely modern at the time, and the difficulty level is low enough to make it more appealing to younger fans of the series.
I can see why people wouldn't like it as much as the others, but it was still a pretty neat game. I really enjoyed the level design.

I like Mega Man and Bass, but the game feels much more balanced for Bass than for Mega Man.
Is Mega Man 6 the best Mega Man game after 2 and 3 from the classic NES series? That didn't get released on the Wii's VC and I'm wonderin' if it's worth playing if you can get your hands on it.
Mega Man 3 is easily my favorite MM game ever. The only thing keeping it from perfection is some of the epic lag at times. Rush, Protoman, the ability to slide.... no more of the confusingly named items from previous games... little icons displayed what kinds of powers you had, rather than merely having to memorize what each little letter in your arsenal meant as in previous games... and, most of all, vastly improved times for in-between stage screens.

Personally MM5 is, since it has some of the best stage design in the series (especially Gravity Man). If you include the GB games, Rockman World/Megaman IV and V from that series are the next best ones. IV is the most polished of the GB games and my favorite of the Rockman World (JP name for GB Megaman games) series. V is the next most polished and the only GB games to have all new robots. It also has some of my favorite music in the Mega Man series.

I'd say yes, either that or MM5.
I think I understood it fine? The question is whether 6 is the best game, barring 2 and 3? Unless I'm really missing something here, I stand by my answer. 4, 5 and 7 are all better than 6, imho.
