Yeah I'm getting pretty fed up with this game now. The ball constantly going in the middle is annoying me to no end, heck even my paddles will go THROUGH the ball at times. Never had this problem with Zen Pinball but Marvel Pinball is just pi**ing me off. >:/

@Demonic That sucks then.
I've never really had that problem myself in my 13 hours of playing on the Captain America table.
Just that stupid mission that did it for me.

I'm going to be waiting for Kirby's Pinball Land.

I've had that problem with Zen pinball before Demon. I think it happen to me once here as well.

I had started a Red Skull mission today and then hit the ball into the Captain hole which triggered a mission. Needless to say I had to complete the dig mission with two balls and did complete it then it went right into the multiball. Was crazy but still fun.

It is a great game, but overall I think it's a bit more difficult than Zen.

The Iron Man table is tough (only been able to rack up a score a little over 3,600,000), I like the Captain America table is fun (until I saw some of your scores, I thought my score of over 30,000,000 was good, lol), Fantastic Four seems to be fun, but I havn't played much of it, and I havn't really tried Blade out yet.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Decided to give it one last go for now.
Completed Resistance first shot for a change, and kept on picking off the missions to reach the final showdown on my first ball.
Starting to get a bit tired though which made it pretty difficult, and only ended up making it to the third stage with 165,303,937...
Lame.

Had another blast at the Iron Man table and I lost all 3 of my balls in... wait for it, drum roll please... drum roll begins 2 minutes! drum roll ends

Freaking ridiculous! I want to love it, I really want to love it, but it's just so cheap and nasty and annoying. Sitting your naked butt on a cactus would be more fun. D:

As for Captain America I can easily rack up 20 million or more on the first ball, when I lose that ball it just goes down hill after that. Looks like that 56 million will be my highest score for that table for a while at least.

@Demonic I try to aim for about 100 million or so with my first ball.

I'm going out for the day, and I expect that Tech will have the new high score when I get home.

@BenAV Yeah but I have no idea how to control the ball so I just ping it around, eventually it just lobs itself down the gutter... I can go quite a way but then it eventually falls apart. Need to grab that ball by the... ball and start controlling it rather than just flicking it around like a crazy person.

How are you people so good at Pinball?

I have the original Zen, but haven't touched it much. I'm just not very good at it...
Do you think it would be worth it for me to buy this?

same here,I have zen on my 3ds and dont touch it much,I find it harder then most pinball games, but if I had a easier one I still wouldn't play hours on one table to get a big score because theres always someone whos gonna top it off

I'd say that for anyone who hasn't really bothered to play Zen Pinball much, it's not really worth the money.
It's basically the same game with more tables which are Marvel themed, and in general they probably seem harder than Zen Pinball although I haven't tried three of the tables much myself.
I'd say that this is more for people who liked Zen and are ready for more... or for huge Marvel fans I guess.

I've never been very good at Pinball games or anything, but so far I have the high score on the Captain America table (although it won't last too long I suspect).
Still fun trying to beat scores, even if you never make it to the top.

One good thing about living in Australia is that although it's hard to get the overall high score, I can at least get some of the highest scores in my country.
In Zen Pinball 3D, last time I checked I have the Australian high score in 2/4 of the tables... I don't think many Australians play it.

@Tyson Most of it's down to patience and seeing how the table works and what gives the most points, this can take a while for some while others (Tech & BenAV) it's almost second nature. However, I must say though, pinball is rather boring when your going low scores, but when your getting those high scores, it's a real buzz.

Ok. I'll experiment with Zen Pinball some more. Who knows? It may grow on me. Then I'll consider getting this.

For me, games like this are most fun in the first few days after they come out.
Nobody has set any really high scores yet so anyone who puts in enough time can climb to the top for a while.
Then eventually someone sets some ridiculous score that I could never beat and I'm left settling for highest score in Australia.

I can't stand this game anymore! The ball goes in one direction, it comes to the middle and then goes dead straight and then it has the nerve to ghost through your paddles! I'm sorry but what the hell?!

It's so annoying! I'm going off to Zen Pinball, screw Marvel... these tables are well annoying, either that or the physics engine died.

Is it just me or are these tables a bit harder to see clearly than the Zen Pinball tables? This game could really use big 3DS XL screens in my opinion.

@Demonic Every shot that comes down between the paddles is stoppable, so sounds like you might just need some improving with the timing of your hits to save the ball more than anything. Enjoy Zen.

@Mk_II At first I found it a bit small (but I think I was the same with Zen) but then I got used to it before long.
I always set the view to camera 6, as that seems to be the best for me.
I think it's always a bit tough getting used to a new table on the small screen, but once you know where everything is it's not so bad.
I nearly always play my 3DS in 2D mode these days, but Zen/Marvel Pinball is still completely awesome in 3D.
No way I would play any other way.

@BenAV Trying to get that timing right... but that ball slides through anyway. D:

Speaking of 3D... I can't play Marvel or Zen without 3D, if it's in 2D it's so hard to judge where things are, 3D all they way for me. Also the screen might be small, but the 3D makes up for it, makes it feel bigger than what it actually is.
