On topic, has there been confirmed use of SpotPass? I know StreetPass is in, but what of SpotPass?

Yep Spotpass confirmed. one of the screen shots i posted earlier should have a list of those features. (its a but blurry)

Right now its only been confirmed for Ghost data.

Anyone want to rate the chances of characters coming back? I will...

• Waluigi - 5/5 : Waluigi Pinball is in the game, enough said.
• Diddy Kong - 4/5 : Ever since he appeared in Double Dash, he got to be in many Mario spin-offs, plus there's a DKCR themed course.
• Bowser Jr. - 4/5 : He usually seems to get in with Diddy, since they're both smaller counterparts to heavyweight characters that are always included.
• Toadette - 4/5 : Most likely, the main reason she wasn't in Mario Kart DS was because of the limited space. Plus, there's a balloon of her in the screenshot with the balloon Toad.
• Dry Bones - 3/5 : He was actually included in Mario Kart DS INSTEAD of Koopa Troopa, and was also included in Mario Kart Wii. He's a little less likely now than before since Koopa Troopa is going to be in the game.
• King Boo - 3/5 : They might put him in a third time because of Luigi's Mansion 2.
• Birdo - 3/5 : Included in both Double Dash and Wii, but was never really that popular, but still not too unlikely.
• Funky Kong - 3/5 : Even with the supposed new characters coming in, I wouldn't say he's too unlikely because of not only his popularity in Mario Kart Wii, but he is very popular among the Japanese fanbase.
• Baby Mario - 2/5 : This game's supposed to have a bunch of new characters, so I doubt there's room for the babies. If it includes any, it will probably only have two.
• Baby Luigi - 2/5 : He will only get in if Baby Mario gets in (which probably isn't too likely)
• Baby Peach - 2/5 : Same as with Baby Luigi
• Baby Daisy - 1/5 : There just couldn't any room for her.
• Dry Bowser - 1/5 : Same reason as Baby Daisy, there just couldn't be room for him.
• Petey Piranha - 1/5 : He was actually cut from Mario Kart Wii, so I doubt he will come back here, especially with the supposed new characters coming in.
• ROB - 1/5 : Same as with Petey Piranha. Plus, he technically isn't even a Mario character.
• Paratroopa - 1/5 : The only reason he was in Double Dash was so Koopa Troopa could have a partner.
• Donkey Kong Jr. - 1/5 : He hasn't been in since the original. The fact that Diddy is in the games now makes it even worse for DK Jr.

What in the world is DLC anyway?

Um, Spotpass is online racing and battling and such. And I'm pretty sure that those have been confirmed since whenever they first announced Mario Kart 7 would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. _{which was even before it was called Mario Kart 7, btw}

I'm pretty sure they also confirmed the game would remain at 60 frames per second both in Grand Prix _{and all single player modes} and online.

I'm pretty sure pikky is right.

I think that is called online play, not SpotPass. SpotPass is when you put your 3DS in sleep mode and it automatically downloads updates or content from the internet.

They better, that was fun...especially with that program way back that converted small images into pixelated emblem formats.
(forget exactly, but it told you what color in which spot since the color options were limited, worked very well)

I actually drew Ness from Smash Melee's promotional art. Looked so good. Took long, but was worth it. Really hoping as others we get to make our Emblem
