Also, I like how the AI is more competitive Once, toad held his red shell until my Tanooki Tale disappeared!
Then one computer waited until we all were on the bouncy mushrooms in Mushroom Gorge and used his lightning Everyone fell and he got first
I know right? Also, maybe it's just my skill level being towards the lower end of the scale, but the CPUs are EXTREMELY good at sniping me with green shells and fireballs (especially green shells). I mean seriously, it's almost like they know what I'm going to do next and then aim their shell perfectly so that it bounces off 3 walls and then hits me. I'm not even exaggerating (very much)! I've also seen CPUs dodge my bananas and shells (then other times they hit bananas where even the worst Mario Kart player shouldn't have). I don't think it's rubberbanding because I don't get hit by blue shells and lightnings much more often when I'm in 1st than the CPUs do when they're in 1st. The computer players actually have quite a bit of skill.
If the 3DS has not been discontinued SM3DL and MK7 are awesome games, but if the 3DS has been discontinued Sony has taken over the world. It is not true that both Sony has taken over the world and SM3DL and MK7 are not awesome games. Therefore:Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are...
I agree about the AI, they appear to be genuinely competitive in this game. The 150cc AI is always a pain when they get a Fire Flower, as they're too good with it and always hit me two or three times no matter how much I try to dodge it.
Oh well, I have three stars on everything so I no longer have to worry about them.
Is there something I'm missing, or is there no option to pick a specific track and race with computers? You can choose a full cup to race with them, or you can pick time trials to be able to choose any course but there's no computers. Why the heck can't I just pick tracks on at a time? Mario Kart Wii had it

Um, no, MKWii did not do it. Since every Mario Kart game ever, when you pick a Grand Prix, it makes you race through a preset selection of 4 tracks. That's what a Grand Prix is: a series of races. What you are probably thinking of is vs. mode.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
I just beat 2 Retro Studios employees' times! One on Neo Bowser CIty and the other on Waluigi Pinball. The Neo Bowser city took me 3 tries I think because I fell off at a certain turn, but the Waluigi Pinball race only took me one try. (maybe 2.) It was so cool. Felt real good to beat developer's time trials! I can't wait to beat more later.
Do you unlock Retro ghosts when you beat the Nintendo ghosts? I haven't played much yet, and the graph and large number of ghosts confuses me. Also wish there were a way to share ghosts with friends online.
Yeah, the Nintendo and retro ghosts should just be there. You don't have to unlock them, and I don't think you can share ghost times online with friends. @pixelman I beat neo bowser city by 2.something seconds and the waliuig pinball one by 4 seconds.
Those were some hilariously awesome matches Adam. I lol'd IRL when you showed up at the finish line in Kalimari Desert. That was probably the best run of matches I've ever had online.
I'll be gone all day tomorrow but we need to race some more over the weekend.
Hi everyone! Has anyone noticed me (WaluigiBag) on World wide races or the official Nintendo community?
The Maka Wuhu glitch hasn't been a problem for me (except for one time) on the official Nintendo community. I think that community players are quite cool.
