The spike shell is now part of the family,so deal with it. I don't like it either, but so be it.

I like the blue shell its cool unless hackers figure out how to get them all the time DARN YOU HACKERS!!!!!

I'm perfectly fine with the blue shell as long as it stays on the ground. The problem with the winged blue shell is that it almost never helps the player who uses it, and is just annoying to whoever is in 1st place. Instead, it usually helps the 2nd and 3rd place racers, which is bad for both 1st place and the player who launched it. The wingless blue shell actually helps the user because it has the potential to knock other racers in front of the user out of the way. In fact, MK7's blue shell might actually be better than MK64's because it seems like it can actually target and (slightly) home in on other racers while still giving them the chance to dodge.
I understand that some of you want the blue shell completely gone, and I respect your opinions, but as @Terave said, the blue shell isn't going anywhere any time soon.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the blue shell doesn't make you drop your items anymore

They probably wanting to finally balance the Blue Shell out again, if you think about it, the flying form bypasses everything and takes out the person in 1st place. With this shell being grounded again, I assume it will play out similarly to the 64 version....Meaning if it hits a wall, or one of those Barrel Canons that you see in some levels, etc., it may be done and over for it. (unless it explodes there and catches whoever is in the explosion, I dunno) That and it'll take down whoever is in its way...

Basically, they're making it where there is a chance to stop it via course obstacles or whatever.

Looking at the water sections, yeah, looks floaty. But really, it's supposed to be different than driving on land.

I just can't wait to race at FULL SPEED at 150cc and trash Adam and blow him up with Bob-ombs

I wish Nintendo would bring back the old days back on DS. Where NoA would upload weekly videos of some of their staff racing against some lucky opponents.

Oh yeah! Haha totally forgot that. I raced them once... And some people were changing their names and claim they are staff members.

I really liked their NintendoWifiConnection website. I always logged on to see what patterns are being put up. And I saw my name once on the "Users online" on Animal Crossing

I think they had a special way of showing that they were real...red letters?...Can't remember, whatever. lol
I think I raced one too, loved that site, always checked and hoped I would get in one of the videos. xD

Also, on the website, it shows the American box art, not European... things dont add up.
