but its like one time he says he has em, then next he says he's waiting for them to arrive...? sounds inconsistent.

Matillion

Does anyone know of you'll be able to change the controls?

It's a conspiracy, I tell you.

@Mati Don't know for sure, but I think you can't.

He said yesterday he'd post a picture today, which he didn't.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Moving on...bomb battles are back babeh! They don't stack up like they did in Double Dash, probably because you don't carry items in your hands in this game like you did with Double Dash, but still...I'm so friggin' hyped for this!

Skip to 2:24 for the bomb battles!

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

@Dark_TeeJay
Me thinks that is balloon battle on a community with only one item turned on. As I've never heard anything about Bob-omb Battle until now.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Yes, that is what it is. You can tell by the balloons. The only battle modes are balloon battle and coin runners, I believe.

Aw, what.

Then again... I think it is basically the same though. I don't remember Bob-omb Blast rules exactly. Balloon battle in MK6 is like MKW in one respect: It's a points affair, no elimination. Wasn't BB a matter of scoring the most points, with each hit against someone else being a point and each hit on yourself a negative point? If so, that's basically what balloon battle is, and if you limit the item to bob-omb only, you're basically playing bob-omb blast but without the cool bomb stack and with a time limit instead of a goal of X number of points... I think. Close enough, anyway.

Does anyone know what the secret is that you get if you get at least 1 star on every Grand Prix?

Fixed it for ya. That's just a community battle

I never understood why they felt they needed to add voices to the Miis in Mario Kart. They were always silent in the other games i.e. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Mario Super Sluggers

I got used to em in mkWii.. but some guy has a Mii with a real annoying voice....

1up reviewed the game, too, and they still have not gotten their facts straight, continuing to praise MKDD and MKDS for their item balance while whining about only two unbalanced items in MK7, blue shell (which is now more balanced and was in all games but the first one anyway) and Bullet Bill (which was introduced in MKDS and functionally the same [but not half as cool] as the Chain Chomp from MKDD).

They also praise MK64 and say all track design since then has been bland. I think they need to change the tinting on their spectacles.

The track comment shows an unwillingness to part with nostalgia, but it's an opinion, so whatever. The item thing though... how can a major review site fail so badly at checking simple facts? Someone with a user account there should call them out on it and see what they say, if they respond to comments at all.

MK7 should get a 7

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Well the easy solution is for anyone with a brain to just ignore everything they say.
They could give the game a Zero, but that wouldn't stop me from buying it.

Um, not everyone with a brain has played DD and DS to recognize the fallacy inherent in their complaints.
