@KomicZ TBH I don't really know. I've been selling games for a couple of years now so I search for new games and therefore suppliers every once in a while. I just came across MK7 on there.
Not that it's a huge deal that Single Player VS. isn't in the game, it's just strange since it was in....pretty much every Mario Kart as far as I can remember. It would probably be my most played mode, but it doesn't matter now that it has online play. I think people who can't play it online are at the biggest loss not having a single player vs. mode.
@MiracleBlaze, You're the thriftiest 12 year old I've ever seen. Most 12 year olds would make money selling their Halloween candy, but you're in the big leagues.

@SamuraiShyGuy It was your most played mode? Even over Online? That's a bit surprising! Also, thanks for the compliment! Don't think that I think it's normal for a 12 year old to be selling games! Most of my friends at school still fail to accept I sell games even after selling them to them!
Perhaps I didn't say that right. I meant it would be my most played mode without online.

I'll be playing online mode non-stop once I beat the the normal game and unlock some new racers, and get use to the controls I guess. I can kiss good bye to my social life for at least 3 months come next week, lol
@SamuraiShyGuy Oh. Still, I suppose as soon as the Online servers get hacked, Online is kind of useless anyway.
I still play MK Wii online. Running into a hacker every now and then isn't that big of a deal (and sometimes is fun). Now with communities, hacking is even less of an ordeal.

Isn't the whole reason you bought them to sell them early? if so, and you really do have them, how about selling to some of the people here? I'm sure that if you can prove that you have them, then you'd find at least one or two people on here that'd pay to get them early. Although, nevermind, Adam obviously wouldn't because they european
@Pikky If anyone in the UK wants one I'll sell them for £25 if you can pay by Paypal, but you'll probably only get it on Friday anyway which is the UK release date. If anyone is interested though, the offer's on the table, however, I doubt anyone will be desperate anyway because I can't even guarantee they'll get it early or even on release day!
Edit - Also, the intention was not to sell them early, because I could end up having to pay out thousands if I break the Street Release Date, but my intention was to sell them, just not early.
They aren't that common in my experience. I run into them every once in a while. You can just leave the room if you don't like them (though if they're a "nice" hacker you can often get loads of points from them). I don't know how much you've played it online, but it is a bit strange that you've never ran into one.

TBH I never played Mario Kart Wii much because I thought it was really bad. The stages were too widespread and it was really difficult to turn. I mean it when I say MK7 is the best Mario Kart, and it's the best Mario Kart by some way. The coins really add to the experience and all the new stages are really tight and well designed by Nintendo, especially the air and water parts. The fireball and Tanooki tail are really good items and whilst the Lucky 7 is a pretty cheap item, it's alright. Mario Kart 7 is one of my favourite games of all time!

From what I've read of this preview; http://au.ds.ign.com/articles/121/1212419p1.html it seems like "communities" are just a way to create a way for only racing with Mario or another character. It is not restricting the actual players... so everyone can still join. I thought it would be more like a list of players in a given community, and only those players can play in that community. It seems it does not work in that way.
From the Australian IGN preview;
I had a chance to play around with the community feature during a recent demo, and I found it quite interesting, though not as customizable as I initially thought (and hoped) it would be. When it comes to customization, the communities are actually very limited. It's not like in the Super Smash Bros. series where you can electively turn on or off whatever item you choose and adjust their frequency. You start with one long list of the different items, characters and kart parts in the game, and you choose one of these as a specification.

Maybe I'm getting it wrong, I hope.
Then what would be the point of the codes required to enter a community if the only purpose it serves is to

? Wouldn't that actually hinder it and make it harder?
But yeah, no, you're reading it right, that's just what it says. I just have a hard time believing that that's the type of 'custom races' that Nintendo's been hyping all this time, especially given the fact that you'd have to enter a password to be able to get into one. It's like friendcodes all over again
You got communities wrong. When racing in a community or a friend match, you have the option to restrict everyone to the same racer (no idea why you'd want to do that) or to limit what items appear, but you can also play normally. A community is a way for a large group of people to race together without all being friends.
Ok, I understand. So you also need to enter a code to enter a community? Where is the source for this piece of information? If this is actually how it works then it makes sense, and it would eliminate cheaters or unwanted players. I just thought the whole community was only centered about some simple parameters specifying the community--like character, kart setup and specific items.
