Yeah not what I meant, lol. I'm getting it regardless, but the Portrait Ghosts were unique compared to the regular ghosts (since they were more human-like for the most part), really enjoyed them...and noticed they weren't in here.

They'll be hard to replace. Then again, like he said, it is a sequel. So we should just be happy with what they do that's different.
Hopefully each of the individual ghosts have enough personality.
@CM30 - I can't read Japanese, but DAMN Luigi looks awesome, vacuuming up that ghost.

Well, someone to scale the Scarescraper with (if its FC based)! It's a Day 1 purchase for me, considering this was one of the major reasons why I bought my 3DS. I'm just hoping that lack of a second C-stick wouldn't be much of a problem - them CCPs are bulky and crazy expensive to import!

On the topic of 'Portrait Ghosts', I don't think Dark Moon needs them. Like @Emaan said, we should look forward to what they do differently. However, a few cameos would be interesting if done right. According to what people have said in YouTube comments, the house Luigi is in during the intro of Dark Moon is the D Rank Mansion from the GCN original. Dark Moon could fit in more references to the original.
Maybe returning Portrait Ghosts that, for some reason, help out the cause. Melody was my favourite of the bunch so seeing her or a few others referenced (in pictures or dialogue) would be nice.

Well, we're getting at least normal bosses and mini bosses (normal bosses being the spider and what seems to be a ghost gardener, mini bosses being the yellow Toad like Poltergeist), so I suspect those will be the portrait ghost equivalents.
But some cameos of characters from the first game would be nice.
When looking at the Boo in the top-left corner, it looks like we're going to be collecting Boos again. It looks like the Boo will even say a silly statement or pun when discovered just like in the first game. "Wanna play GameBoo Advance?"
I would love it if they had those puns. If there are 250 Boos to collect, even better.
