To be honest, I think yesterday's announcement of LttP2 confirms there will be a Majora's Mask remake. It was either a remake of LttP or MM, and they most likely won't remake LttP with a sequel right around the corner. Of course they didn't want three out of four main-series Zelda games in a row to be remakes. After we get LttP2 (which looks like it will be amazing), the next 3DS Zelda will be Majora's Mask 3D.

I was thinking of some random IGN article I read over a year ago, must have remembered it wrong... Still, I think there will be a MM sequel in the future, just much later than I would like...
Miyamoto said he wouldn't mind making a sequel to ALttP, and I think Aonouma said MM 3d wasn't "an utter impossibility".

Yes but that's hardly proof that one of those things was bound to happen, or even to be the next Zelda announcement. If you argue so then I'll have to take out my rock that repels tigers.
