As much as it hurts every ounce of my being to type this, unless you are a die hard Sonic fan like @Trululu or @Wonder_Ideal or myself, avoid Sonic Lost World 3DS unless you can get it at a discount. Wii U version is better, but I'm not sure how much better.

@Knuckles - Have you played either of the games? How do they fair in your opinion?

Personally, the only sonic game that is the best is Sonic Generations in my opinion.

Sonic Generations is a great game but the Classic/Modern novelty wore off for me. Don't really have a favourite but I enjoy a good Sonic game every now and then.

@Knuckles, too much multiplayer makes for bad singleplayer memory. So, no.

@DreamyViridi No, I haven't, but I have read NL's Sonic reviews, and I almost always agree with them. Now the Wii U version is a different story altogether than the 3DS. Wii U, I'd say to buy it, know that it won't be as good as say Super Mario Galaxy 1/2, but its only priced at 50, not 60 dollars.

3DS version, only buy it if you see it for 20ish dollars, and want to play it.

Those are my opinions even though I haven't played either game. I'm still getting the 3DS version and will 100% complete it, regardless of how bad it is.
