Seeing @Dash's post reminded me of getting Kid Icarus Uprising. My brothers and I each pre-ordered the game from different places in order to receive the free download code for 3D Classics Kid Icarus. The places we ordered them from required that they be shipped to our home. According to the website, my copy would likely arrive a few days later than my brothers' copies. However, much to my surprise, my copy arrived on the launch day. I quickly got to playing the game and I was amazed. It quickly became one of my very favorites. I had a lot of fun that day and my brothers were really annoyed that I got it before them.

Similar to a lot of you, I thought nothing of Uprising, then it hit me, I need this game. I read my January/Feburary 2012 issue of Nintendo Power all of the time because of the preview it had, and I wasn't very active on NL yet either. I had to preorder the game, I did at Gamestop, got the 3D Classic code, which CN so kindly refunded for me. I find the next part ironic. I was in wifi for 2 days with no Spotpass weapons even though I had everything activated. I finally recieved the third gem, and if you want the rest of the story, read pages 2-670 of the KI:USPWT.
