I'm touched by @KiDasharus's speech and agree with it all. I, too, never planned to get Kid Icarus: Uprising. I saw a trailer and just shrugged it off but as the game came closer to release, I found myself looking at more of the trailers. I went to a HMV store to sell Wii games but I kind of went on 'auto-pilot' mode and instead used them as trade fodder to get Uprising (on its release day no less). The second I played through the tutorial videos, I instantly had good feelings about the game. As I played through Solo, I loved it, then loved it more and then even more.

Then I came across this thread back when I was a mere anonymous guest. I saw you guys talking about Gems, Weapons and other miscellaneous stuff. I noticed on occasion some of the Spotpass Gems were missing but I had them. As soon as I joined the NintendoLife community, I immediately (well, after the Mario Kart 7 races) came here where some of the user were speaking an odd Wii U inspired language. I offered myself as a Gem poster and since then; I've had tons of fun (and frustrating but still fun ^^) battles, had some laughs from the shadows, and made many friends. I can't imagine where I'd been without you guys or this game. It's all fate.

I'll probably open a room sometime within the next hour. I may not do too well, as I just got my Wisdom Teeth removed, but anyone is free to join.

You might wanna pay more attention to icing your face, it'll likely swell up a bit anyway, but you won't bruise if you ice. Seriously though, don't let up in the slightest with the ice, you'll extend the healing process, and I assume you'll want to have puffy cheeks for more than necessary. Get well soon bro~

@Happy_Mask - Correct you are. When I had mine removed, I only put tea in my mouth to prevent bleeding (I don't even like tea) and didn't use ice. Suffice it to say, my face looked a bit lopsided for several days.

I figured after Dash's amazing speech it made this thread even more special to us, so I figured that we make it more special by having something cool like all of our characters in one big picture, but y'know what, just forget it...

I'll be off to go grab my 3DS and Uprising now. @Dash - That was beautiful I wasn't around anywhere near Uprising's release — I got the game in November — but I do understand.

Do what you want. Don't let the opinion of one semi-frequet user stop you. However, do note that @Clay has, at times, worked on such a project through Colors!3D. Maybe you could talk to him about it.
