Downloaded this on a whim today because the videos looked pretty great in the e-shop! I'm loving it right now, great game!! I would rank this game pretty highly, probably 8/10 so far... The graphics are very good imho for the price, and the levels and gameplay mechanics are pretty amazing. I am loving this! If you like Tetris, you probably will too.

I must say I'm really pleased with this game! Warning to people buying it: unless you have already played a lot of ThruSpace, at first this game will be VERY frustrating. I've never played it before, and I found myself becoming really angry - the gamer seems to have a steep learning curve, but very quickly you will find yourself having a lot of fun. (Though between you and me, I still DESPISE the "There are no holes in the walls until you fill in a shape" mode. Makes me so angry!)

Also, I keep reading all of these reviews that seem to be annoyed that the game has a plot. Obviously in a game like this plot isn't necessarily important, but I like that each of the pieces is a little character. It's cute! I see no problems there.

I think the theme and plot of this game make it much more enjoyable than Thruspace was. Thruspace was like throwing tetris bricks into your bathroom. This game is just so much more creative.

Already on the 7th area and having a blast! I hear there are 60+ levels? OMG! This game reminds me a little bit of Tetrisphere (on the N64) and I loved that game so much. Please bring back Tetrisphere on the 3DS!

I had doubts about buying it, but I'm glad I did. It's actually a pretty great game! The 3D effect is especially good, surprisingly.

I gotta say, I'm appreciating the aesthetic way more than I thought I would. ThruSpace was simple, clean, a bit futuristic, and had a nice electronic style to the music that I could appreciate. At first, seeing what they did visually with Ketzal's Corridors, it just seemed tacky and, if they were changing it to try to appeal to a wider audience, I thought they were missing the mark. Funny enough, giving the pieces character is pretty charming, the style of the music is enjoyable (and still reminiscent of ThruSpace's), and it makes a bit of sense in terms of towers and tunnels.

I'm enjoying it more and more, and I imagine it will be incredibly challenging to get all the medals for a perfect trick run of a level, giving it a lot of replayability.

Playing it with my CPP would solve the R button issue. I played the WiiWare demo, though I'm not sure if this would be worth the money for me.

The game has a bunch of levels seeing as I'm not past world 1 yet. (3 worlds iirc) On top of that there's endless levels where the difficulty increases as you go on. These are actually real addicting and fun when it gets faster. I played the endless hearts mode for like 20 minutes just now. There's also medals of bronze, silver, and gold, so there's incentive to go back and get a better score. Also it has multplayer, and one of the modes you only need one system. It works fine too. I played it with my brother and he seemed to like it.
The Aztec (IMO incredible Mayan not Aztec) theme is really cool too. But that part may just be me since I'm into that. Overall I say worth $7. I was iffy at first too but it's fun. I like it.
