Topic: Just got an 3DS XL. Help with some things.

Hi guys! I'm new to Nlife and I just got a 3ds xl. I need some help though.

1-What's the best case/cover for an XL?
2-My brother is letting me use his 3ds for a System Transfer, but i keep getting error messages.

1. Depends on what games or characters you like. Check Amazon for some options
2. The eShop is temporarily down, so I'd wait until the mess resolves

There are plenty of cases for cheap on Amazon and eBay.
Personally I have and recommend this ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/ButterFox-Deluxe-Accessory-Travel-Con... ) case. (I forgot how to shorten the link, dammit).
It fits the XL perfectly, plus you get a USB charger, car charger, pen, screen protectors and some other stuff, plus it's cheap.

And what do you mean your Brother is letting you do a system transfer?
So you are transferring all of his data to your 3DS so you can have his games?

1-I really don't care if the case has characters as long as it can protect my 3ds(and has shock absorption but i won't be picky.)
2-Yeah my bro is letting me transfer his stuff so wont have to buy all the old games he already has.

transfer will delete his files and move them to yours...u know that right?

@Suicune Yeah. He's pretty much done with most of his games, and he's giving them to me so 1-I wont have to waste money buying them and 2-I wont have to bug the hell out of him to play Mutant Mudds lol.

But yeah, Nintendo is still working on those servers, apparently... I'm still sitting here, eagerly waiting to get into the eShop... but no-can-do... D:

Something really wierd just happened. Me and my bro were actually able to get the System Transfer going. But, when it got to the part where it transferred over the shop data, things started to go wrong. My bro's 3ds got an error message, and the date on my 3ds started to change rapidly for no reason. We had to turn our 3ds' off and now we're wondering wuts up? People are saying the servers are damaged, but if that's true then how were we able to even get the trasnsfer going? Also, what happens to the data on his 3ds now? Is it lost?

@JaySonsa1298: You're not the only one who has had this problem... apparently it screws up at the end when it tries to connect to the internet... I know @Intrepid had the same issue... but yeah, just wait it out and/or contact Nintendo for help!

I'm still waiting to do a system transfer as well. I still need to update my 3DS, but the servers are still down so I just have to be patient.

Well i just called Nintendo and they STILL don't have an "ETA" as to when the servers will be up and running again.
