Topic: Just bought my 3DS XL

purchased my gf and myself each our own nintendo 3DS XL about 2 days ago & i am having a blast..

I bought it along with
pokemon y (awesome game)
fire emblem the awakening (haven't opened)
Mario Land 3D (one of the greatest)
Zelda Ocarina Of times (haven't opened)

I have owned psp/psvita and i gotta say Nintendo 3DS is by farmy favorite there is just no compitition and i am a sony fan only own a PS3.

And you must have done your research or just have great taste because that is a flawless list of titles to pick up, ones most 3DS owners would recommend had you not already scooped them up. I just got my 3DS XL not too long ago and I'm already fairly certain it'll end up being one of my favorite consoles ever. Glad to see you and your GF are enjoying yours.

Great stuff 3D Land is one of my favs.

I could personally recommend you Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and obvi Mario Kart 7, as well as some eShop and Virtual Console titles, such as Pullblox/Pushmo (3D puzzle game), Gunman Clive (unique 3D western sidescroller/platformer), some classic Mario and Wario games, such as Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Wario Land ..and some classic Zelda, such as Oracle of Ages & Seasons to name a few.

Obviously there's a ton of content on the 3DS at the moment, and much more is coming out (I'm sure you know of A Link Between Worlds next month and Yoshi's New Island). These are basically some titles I can recommend, although I'm not informed as to what you prefer. I can also recommend Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, even though I don't have it, but I know that game is a killer platformer that many people enjoy.

Yes!! Most of what you mentioned sounds extremely appealing the DS has so much to offer i HAD TO pick up atleast 4 games along with it x]
Haven't played pokemon since nintendo sp so i jumped straight into pokemon Y.

Everyone feel free to continue postig suggestions even if tjey have already been mentioned it shall be much appreciated. I am new to the DS and it seems lile there are a lot of cool things i dont know about yet
