As someone who actually liked Johnny Kung Fu and Retro Pocket, I think I'm going to pick this one up. It's a retro themed wild west shooter! More info later as I play it.

The game looks interesting (at least looks like it has a sense of charm, which is more than I can say about most western developed eShop games), but seeing as how it's UFO, I'll have to wait for some reviews.

Umm.. well, the funny thing is, I was downloading it right after I posted this and then my wifi went out, so I still haven't been able to download it. It's supposed to be fixed tonight though (we just had a big storm come through town) so I'll try again soon! What are your initial impressions, Phil?

Sorry, but I don't think making this whole "Johnny" series is a good idea, since Johnny Kung Fu was my least favorite 3DSWare game.

Wow? Really? I beg to differ. I thought Johnny Kung Fu was fun and innovative, I still play it from time to time. I also liked Retro Pocket but I know I'm one of the few who do like those two games. lol Not every game is gonna suit everybody. For instance, I hate Art Style: Aquia, and when it came out it got great reviews.

I didn't like JKF because it was a button-mashing game and the enemies kept on repeating annoying "special" attacks and,on occasion,a small punch. Also, the art could have been at least a little bit better.

Wait, why would you assume I downloaded it? For review? You think you can accurately predict what I'm reviewing every week now?!

...because you can.

My initial impressions will come soon in the form of a complete review. It won't take long!

Wait, this means you won't be reviewing Smart Girl's Playhouse Mini?!

If a Game has a review score less than 5 I do not get it.

"Johnny Hotshot" 2/10

Not god enough. UFO is filling up the e-shop with some epic fails.

This is actually their first or second fail.

I really don't understand why it is so popular to hate this developer. They're no different than most other nintendo download developers.

Wow, I was right. You reviewed it! hehe.. Of course, you gave it a 2 out of 10, which sucks.. I'm glad that my Wifi dropped out on me for the past 2 days and I wasn't able to download it. Thanks for saving me the grief, Phil! lol. Would you say that Retro Pocket and Johnny Kung Fu is better than this game? Because I like those 2 games.

UFO released "Puzzler World XL" and I absolutely LOVE that game! For $5, you get hours and hours of playtime and it's one of the best word game downloads on the eshop that I've ever seen (tied up there with Crosswords Plus, for me.) So all the ppl hating on UFO, they are one of the only developers consistently releasing games for the eshop. Some of them may suck, true, but there are a lot of great UFO games on the service, too.

Yes. You are right. JKF is a fun game if you ignore it's repetitiveness, and Balloon Pop remix is a blast.

Haven't played JKF, but I'd absolutely say Retro Pocket is better than this one...and I only really liked one of the games in that collection. If you like any more than that, it's an even clearer winner!

Honestly? Retro Pocket rocks Especially for us old fogeys who remember playing the original game and watch games. Youngsters just dont get the old classics. lol

I really love how UFO is at least trying to produce original content and be innovative. If I see one more tower defense game or sudoku game, I'm gonna hurl.

Nintendo World Report: 5.5/10

They loved: The charming presentation. Two of the three stage types are very fun.

They disliked: That you have to replay levels too much to advance. Time limits to earn stars are too strict. Not enough bang for your buck, overall.
