Hi! I was thinking of importing the UK 2DS with Alpha Sapphire pre-installed. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Transparent-Pokemon-Alpha-Sa...

I was wondering if I will be able to link (locally? via wifi?)/battle with a friend who will get the U.S. version of the game. Also, does anyone know if a U.S. credit card will work with the UK eShop?

You should be able to play with your friend.

About the credit card, I'm not entirely sure. If it's possible it will probably pretty expensive compared to just buying games on an American system.
