Really? On the activity log I've been playing for 1 and a half hours now... On easy
Wat. I am confuse. @_@. But I beat all three stories. In that amount of time.
That was probably because I spent a half hour figuring out the controls... And then another hour of dying a lot... I did beat it today finally though, and am playing on normal and hard in the extra mode now. (WARNING, you can't attack)
What is this "extra mode" you are talking about..... i dont understand, im still on world 4's boss level though....

Picked this one up today. I actually learned about it last week because my brother-in-law had it on his iPad and my son was playing it. He said that he's really glad I got it on the 3DS because the iPad controls were really difficult. Anyway, I jumped right into Normal difficulty and am progressing pretty quickly through the game. I enjoy the music more than anything else.
@Brendonm17 (Posts 81-85) - It quadruple posted probably because you clicked the "Post reply" button 4 times. Pro tip (sort of): If you click post reply and the forum topic doesn't automatically reload with your response, open another browser window/tab and check NL on that one to see if post went through. If it did, close one of your browsers and continue on as if nothing happened. If it didn't, copy and paste your response into the new window, post form there and continue on. Also, you can delete your own posts; there should be an option to do so in the upper right-hand corner of the post window.
I did the No Damage runs on Hard difficulty, but that hardly matters---the only difference between difficulty levels is the amount of hits you can take, and pit falls are instant deaths. Since I was going for No Damage, doesn't matter how much health I have.
Hm, I have just enough money for this and I want it, but I already got plenty of games to go through. I don't think I can warrant purchasing this right now.
Haha I have the same issue. This is definately one of the best games in the Eshop and you wont be disappointed. The game isn't going anywhere though. You will be able to get it anytime. It moved way up my gaming list as one to finish immediately. I think its the beauty and simplicity that make the game good for me. someone mentions in an earlier post that the game is a generic sidescroller. I dont think there isanything generic about it.

Everyone should know about this wonderful gem
Yeah it was the video in the e-shop that convinced me to download this title. (Gunman Clive)
It's actually pretty good compared to what I was thinking it would be. Really enjoying it so far.
As for the generic comment I don't think who ever said that was referring to the game play of the game. I think that comment was more directed at the actual artwork in the game.
Even though I do really like & enjoy the game it only feels generic in the artwork/design area. For example like when you draw something & make a rough draft of it then you re-draw that same thing with more detail same thing apply's here. It's like an unfinished painting to be blunt only as a video game instead.
10/10 stars from me though in game play. I don't ever give that many games that high of star rating but for a 2 dollar game. It's justified in my mind lol.
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
Oh I think the Artwork is wonderful. I compare it to the new Mickey Power of Illusion game where the artwork although looks good to me is generic and looks like a saturday morning Cartoon. I think the way the artwork was done in Gunman Clive really sets the mood of the game and the old west beautifully. Although Mickeys Power of Illusion is more colorful it's just not near as good as Gunman Clive if anyone would like to open a debate about that. I was very dissapointed with Power of Illusion. I would have been happier if they would have made the original Castle of Illusion a 3d Classic
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.
just completed No Damage on Hard, but actually its just the same as Normal, Speed Runs arent really possible since the drops are coompletely random, and that means some runs can be faster if you are lucky...
Now on to Stage 5 (Hard - No Damage run) of the secret character
3DS FC: 4640-0256-4473 // Games: RE: Revelations, MK7, Kid Icarus: U, MGS3D, SM3DLand, EO4, Donkey Kong CR3D, Fire Emblem Awakening, Castlevania: LoS MoF, Shin Megami Tensei 4, Monster Hunter 3U and Pokemon Y
Steam: Farukool
PM me if you add
Finally accomplished No Damage runs for all three characters. Time for some speed runs! I have good times for many of the levels, but could definitely improve.
And I still smile every time that horse comes flying at me on Stage 16.
