Topic: Ghosts 'n Goblins

Is anyone else as excited as me about this VC game being released today in NA? And just in time for Halloween! I played it to death as a kid.

I just downloaded it onto my 3DS!

I'm playing it while watching the World Series Game 2.

I've beaten this game so many times on my Nintendo (still have the cart!).

BRING THE PAIN!!! (Also, I like hitting the gravestone in the first level repeatedly and then turning into a frog!) xD

Hehe! Yeah, I remember that little trick. It's a wonderful game and a great game to play to help get into the Halloween spirit!

I change my Backloggery theme to Ghosts N Goblins every Halloween. (Surprisingly, I've never played the SNES and Genesis games)

I bought this and I got past the first boss no problem. The red devils are no problem... IT'S THE STUPID BIRDS!

This....game....is....FRUSTRATING!!!! I'm still stuck on the first level, and finding new and dumber ways to die every single time...

One of the keys to this game, at least for me, is to KEEP MOVING RIGHT. Esp in the first level. I try not to ever stand still. Don't get caught up thinking you have to kill every single enemy. Keep moving right.

Never beat Castlevania?
Mega Man is frustrating?

Guess what ladies, this is Ghost and Goblins, it's the game that turns wimpy kids made out of butter into Big strong men carved out of wood ready to take the world by the B*lls!

Beat it in 20 min, one death because I scratched my nose in level 5. Why are you guys having so much trouble?

I can beat this, just not the Arcade version.

I love this game to death.I remember when I was little I hated it because I could never get off the first level (silly me with no skills) but now it's one of my favorite games and if your wondering I am awesome at this game now! lol

am I the only one that sees the character and enemy sprites really small on the 3DS?

Yes, I've seen that too. That was really embarrassing for him. I guess he still can't beat level 2 (without cheating).
And come on, Chicken. Bragging on the internet is pointless, it doesn't prove anything. We want evidence!

The timing is uncanny!

Can someone please explain what the third option on the title screen is? Hitting select once takes you to the 2 player mode, but hitting it again takes you to a blank line, which when hitting start, seems the same as the 2 player mode.
