Topic: GBA on virtual console anyone?????

Its really unfair for Nintendo to only give some GBA games on the Ambassadors program for a limited time. I really want to get Metroid Fusion, Zero Mission and the Golden Sun Series..........COME ON NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

Was it fair that they payed almost double for their 3DS? Maybe you should have bought your system at launch like they did.

Isn't the Wii U getting GBA games sometime later?

It's going to be a long, long time - if ever - before we see GBA sold on 3DS VC...

I would bet they will do GBA games on the 3DS, but it will be a year or two since they still need to work through the majority of the NES games.

Buy a Wii U.
Then go buy TW101.

As an ambassador, I think to get the games free was enough. Nintendo need to start releasing them to the greater public along with some new ones.

There's so many games they could be releasing, but give the rate at which Nintendo are currently releasing VC games, we'll be drip fed them for years to come - and not neccesarily good ones at that.

If I remember correctly, the 10 ambassador games were going to be the only GBA games released for the 3DS, so you're out of luck for the foreseeable future. I'd also doubt that we'd get zero mission with the original metroid game already on the eShop. I'm happy with the ambassador exclusivity.

Also haven't we already had half a dozen threads along this line in the past couple of months?

I still think they should make GBA games come back. GBA had a great library of games including metroid, golden sun etc.

Why aren't you guys supporting this fact? Don't you love or atleast like some GBA games????

@Artwark: I'm one of those people who would really like to see GBA games on 3DS... what I'm saying, though (and what everyone else is saying) is it's

a) gonna be a really long wait; or
b) never gonna happen.

And plus, I still have an actual GBA; I still play it sometimes, actually. I'd much prefer VC games for systems I never had/don't have, like NES and GB and GBC.

I've got all the GBA games I could want, I don't need them on the VC yet.

What about the ones who don't?

first off to play super mario world portable is just genius and they did that for the advance series. So why can't we get those instead of getting the Wii U for playing world?

If they haven't done it already, I don't expect them to ever do it. Missed opportunity on Nintendo's part, if you ask me.

i think they still have some issues with them. for starters you can't use the 3ds sleep mode or home button or any 3ds features. for this reason alone i pretty much don't play these games much. theres some i do want to play through, but its a pain that i can't just close my system and resume playing it later without killing the battery like crazy.

i know gba is outdated by todays standards, but i thought i heard that emulating them on the 3ds the way nintendo does is already pushing the limits, and the games don't always look the greatest.
