Racing MMO. Can you imagine a racing game with two hundred or more players? Actually, a Mario Kart battle mode inspired game on that scale could be pretty entertaining.
Puzzle Shooter: Either shooting with puzzle elements in the combat (so not so much like Portal as you'd imagine), or Henry Hatsworth, etc with a First Person Shooter on one screen and a Tetris style puzzle game on the other.
Rather then stupid, I'd love to see a rhythm RPG (where the battles are rhythm, not the entire game. Theatrhythm was boring), a rhythm first or third-person shooter, a rhythm sandbox game and a side-scrolling sandbox RPG game. If you can't tell I dig rhythm games.
This is a signature.

Screw you.
"Good. Everyone's together. Pyrrhon loves a party." "...It's funny because marriage is terrible!" If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome! Songs are like hugs that mouths give to ears. Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all...
Turn-Based First Person MMO Racing Puzzle Platformer (That would never work)

How about, you're a shark, and you gotta shake palm trees until trains fall down, and you put the trains in an apple, and then turkeys come and then eat the apples, and then the turkeys go up waterfalls, and to get them down, you have to collect monkey butts, so you drop the monkey butts on power lines, and then...PSSSSSHHHHH!
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
Turn-based first person puzzle platforming racing. You have to win in a RPG battle so you can solve a puzzle to complete a platforming level so you have enough fuel to keep your racecar going. Oh, and it's all in first person. It's a great game for the entire family, for those that love platforming, racing, first person games... etc!
Real Time Strategy Dancer - Dance to gather resources and command your armies!
Kamikaze Platformer - Pilot Mario into Bowser's castle while dodging bullets from the koopas!
Strategy MMO! A giant open battlefield where you have to control areas, and move your units individually on your turn. Then, you wait 12 hours 'till everyone else on the server has made their move.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
Lol actually I'd love to see many of your suggestion as a real game...
Let me comment on a few:
SkywardLink98
Real Time Strategy Dancer: Actually I think that would be wonderful way for asymmetric gameplay. 4 People dance with Wiimotes and one other guy uses the ressources to play a tactical game on the gamepad.
Strategy MMO!: This reminds me of the play-by-email era of "games" I was a proud part of! It was similar to this when browsergames were still in their infancy. Loved it though.

Man, I'd play it...

Wow... twisted but most likely better than anything EA or Activision have come up with lately...
I personally could imagine something like a blend of
"runnergame" and "racinggame". Basicly all you do is similar to the old DECATHLON games on C64 and such. Multiple players all get their own lane each, corresponding to their selected difficulty/handicap they have to avoid obstacles. Mistakes are penalized with time-adds. Winner is the fastest one /and/or the first one at the finish line.
Also blending "rhythm" and "racing" in a similar way would definitely make sense to me. Also I'd love to see some kind of beat'em up centered on "rhythm" in a way so it better "simulates" of being "in the flow" or "one with yourself" so many real martial arts are about.
There's definitely room to grow.

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
Sports Platformer... I'm trying to think about how this would work.

Nice AVGN quote.. From his Atari Jaguar video I believe..

Dance Fighter - Take Wii Remote in hand and dance... TO THE DEATH! You have to dance to get your characters to attack, dodge, etc. and if you make one wrong move, it may very well be your last dance...
