Topic: Flipnote Studio 3D has finally been announced!

That fee is really disappointing. I used to go on Hatena all the time. Oh well.

I'll be making a cartoon starring my own original character.

Hmm...this looks awesome didn't really use the DSi version, but hey if it is free (don't like the sound of that monthly fee though better not come west) I will pick it up.

Well, the monthly fee might scare off some of the star beggars, flipnote thefts, false reporters, so at least that's one advantage of it.

Also, since the Dsi version is gonna shut down, who's gonna make one last epic flipnote for the good old DSi version, I know I will.

I did always wonder how they paid for the servers with Flipnote Hatena besides the gimmicky stars. It shouldn't be too much of a bummer if they made considerable improvements with this online service.

Well, in honor of the original Flipnote Studio, I shall make one more new character for the S.A.M series before the DSi version is shut down.

YEEEES! Finally! I've been waiting on this since the 3DS got released and Flipnote Memo got announced. Can't wait!!

Never used Hatena on the DSi, it was an extremely bad service IMO. Being able to make the animations to .gif files is much better, that way you can just import them and post them anywhere you want on the web.

@Barbiegurl777 I know, then maybe I won't have to make parody's like this.

This got me Green, Red, and Blue stars, without really trying, but even after almost 4 years being on hatena and being a "famous creator" I still haven't gotten a Purple star, oh well.

Really stoked for this, as never used the DSI version and was somewhat dissappointed that you couldn't download it on the 3DS.
Colours is great, but Inch Worm Animation just didn't do it for me, felt the UI needed some work to make it easier to use.

I have some flipnotes I never posted to Hatena, and I just noticed they say, "Transfer is for Flipnotes posted on Flipnote Hatena only. Flipnotes stored in the Nintendo DSi system memory, or on an SD card cannot be transferred." I think that means we actually have to post our notes to Flipnote Hatena before the service closes on the 31st in order for them to be transferred and us to have any way to access them from Flipnote 3D, yes?
