Oh very cool. Gunman Clive is one of my favorite eShop titles. One thing that made it fun was the homage to so many classic games while still having great gameplay. Hopefully this has the same feel.
This guy is so awesome. He made a nice game, priced it competitively, it sold great, he announced to everyone how it sold great on the 3DS, and makes another game for 3DS.
I think that Brian Provinciano made a mistake not making a Retro City Rampage for the 3DS. It would have sold great too (no comparison of course. Retro City Rampage is totally worth $15 or more).
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

You're not alone, I thought it was ok, but not anything terribly spectacular.
I thought it was good, but extremely overhyped. The $2 asking price doesn't seem like such a bargain when you consider that it takes only half an hour to beat.
Half an hour on easy mode and with only one character, maybe. If we judged all games like this (how long it takes to get the credits), a lot of classic games suck.
If you like trying to get the speed or no damage badges (or even playing it on a higher difficulty setting), the game has a lot of life . Plus, beating it with all three characters added more replayability for me. The duck in particular was a good challenge. I had somewhere around 13 hours on the game. Absolutely worth $2 for me.
But, just like anything else that gets hyped, there is always a backlash from people late to the party to tear it down.
Looks sort of dull and boring. The graphics look outdated and the level design looks effortless, and the overall concept looks unoriginal.
Games I'm playing currently: Legend of Zelda: A Link Betweeen Worlds, Tearaway
Games I'm excited for: Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8

As much as I loved the graphics in the demo, they don't look like something which would be in a final product. I'm sure there's going to be lots of polish put in.
It still seems like a really ambitious project for a solo developer though! Curious to see how it turns out.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
