Nope, only Mozu and her children can get aptitude (or if any child character buys it from another castle). Anyone else is a hack

@Gridatttack Nope, despite being able to use a Master Seal on the Villager class it still acts like a special class. So you wouldn't be able to share the class with husbands or best friends without hacking.

Outside of skills that are special class exclusive like Aptitude and Draconic Hex, every other skill should be legitimate to first-gen characters by reclassing and etc.

I see, well, its just a matter of time until people start getting the enemy class only skills, like the infinite staff :v

I wonder if Nintendo will update to prevent that.

Probably. It won't really change anything unless you want to fight in other people's castles. If you do, you can check their stats, and if it's a hack, then leave and go to another castle. This isn't really like Mario Kart where hacking can discourage players.

Well I just finished Birthright. Time to jump into Conquest! I am totally looking forward to this

The Story in Conquest is so much more satisfying then Birthright.(I am almost done with conquest)

Playing: Wargroove on Switch and Fire Emblem on GBA

@Sleepingmudkip: I enjoyed Birthright's story more. Being zking Garon's grunt and having to be under his oppression is not satistying...

However the characters in Conquest are much better.

Wouldn't it be hard to tell if a castle acquired hacked skills unless you had a chart or something with all the characters and a whole list of what skills they can and cannot learn? There will be obvious ones like Aptitude but aside from that it would take a lot of memorization, or you'd have to have a wikipedia search open every time you want to visit a castle.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

I just beat Birthright. Have to wait till my brother beats Conquest for me to play it, because we agreed that we'll switch when we're both done. Uh, I guess I'll just replay FE7 then. :/

I don't have an exact chart like that, but here's something close:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uuHKnPgJeUHTGpDoEEHey...

It lists the classes and skills in general. You're going to have to scroll through them and figure out which classes and skills a character can or cannot learn.

@Sleepingmudkip
Gameplay, maps(looking at you Ch. 10) and characters are better too. As for story, I would say Birthright is better, but Conquest is probably more satisfying.

Honestly I wouldn't even bother.

Then you'd have to guess which skills were hacked by the avatar, which as of right now is only Aptitude and the wolf, kitsune, and songstress skills

I'd play it safe and know which skills you want a character to learn before the battle, so that way you can avoid hacks, rather than going for what looks best.

I went for Sol, Luna, Draconic Hex, Hoshidian Noble, and many others. I have no shame

@TingLz: Hmmm, well, I presume its only local multiplayer? Online battles are just the CPU controlling the opposing team right?

Also, a haxored team would be like a challenge, more interesting IMO, unless its some really cheap stuff like infinite movement, but I wouldn't mind skills like dragonskin or the infinite staff.

You face actual people for online battles. Haven't played much of it myself, but I didn't have any issues in my battle except for trying to face a promoted team with my units being in their base class which was my mistake lol.

Even so, many of the hacked accounts just let you win and get the skills

Yeah, that's the good thing. A lot of hacked teams seem to be designed so opponents can get their skills with ease.

Oh well, thankfully, 3ds hacking like that has a high entrance barrier, as its a mess getting cheat codes in. Should keep the no-fun people out (MKDS waning days were bad, thunders everywhere, people moving before the countdown finished)

Also, I am at chapter 25 in Birthright. How many chapters are there? 27?
