@Eat_Pie: ah, well I guess what I said still applies, it's easier, because it's basically free and endless, but I guess not exactly the same. But usually the EXP I get is decent until I do it too much or using the same character then they start only gaining 1-3xp... which didn't happen in awakening unless they were too overpowered.

I had an interesting thought but I am sure most people know this or figured this out with the Before Awakening DLC. Awakening is the furthest game in the Fire Emblem timeline, which is something I find really interesting.

@DankyKong
Yeah, grinding is a lot easier in Birthright/Revelations. In Conquest, you have to be stingier with EXP because you can't grind(unless you use the DLC). Exp gain is starting to slow down for my units.

@Smash_kirby
Wait, so that means Odin and Selena went back in time?

@Smash_kirby: It can technically be either way, Fates & Awakening can be parallel, or one can be further than the other. It depends on the player, when they decide to do the DLC. If they do it at the start, you can imply Awakening starts right when Fates is starting. But if you don't do it until the end, then Awakening is the furthest game in the future, because Fates is over and now you're going through the gate to Awakening.

@Dankykong: The way that Hoshido and Nohr are referred to by Chrom and how the awakening mentions the other lords and people is very similar. It is something that is rather interesting to say the least.

It's almost a perspective thing too. Chrom talks about them like they're from an old fairytale, which would imply Fates is universally in the past. But obviously from Corrin's perspective in Fates, it's happening at the same time in the present. Of course the opposite of that is Chrom didn't specify he knows Corrin, just Hoshido and Nohr. If the kingdoms are old enough, it's possible they just survived long enough to meet up with the same time as Awakening, which means they're going through a dimensional doorway to somewhere else in the present. Or third option even, that Fates is on the continent of Ylisse, or if it's older then Akaneia? Which means Corrin is visiting from the past.
Lol maybe that's digging too deep...

I haven't really seen that much similarities in the continent shapes between the games. I do know the continent where Sacred Stones takes place is to the south of Ylisse. It does raise a lot of questions.

Midori is probably my favorite character in this game skill wise and personality, her attack animations are also great lol What are some of your guys favorites?

Arthur hands down, he's the best character in the game.

@Waluigi I'd marry him if I was using the female avatar again for Conquest lol.

Haven't got too far in Conquest so I dunno if I have any personal favourites other than Arthur. As for Birthright, it would probably be Hana, Takumi, Sakura and Saizo.

I'm not lazy! ...I'm just very forgetful. :|

Ugh. The shipping on my SE was delayed, so it's not supposed to arrive until tomorrow afternoon. I bought two PS4 games that were on sale in the last week (Uncharted Collection and Until Dawn), but I'm looking forward to these FE games enough, localization warts and all, that I can't even focus on other games. I'm even having an issue trying to get into a book I picked up recently. Thank God work keeps me occupied a large part of the day.

I was afraid that playing one of these games right after finishing FE7 would lead to FE burnout, but I've been chomping at the bit to play another FE game since the last one.

Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

Leo is my favorite, personality-wise. His character really shines later in Conquest. Nyx was also intriguing, which is one reason why I had Corrin marry her: to learn her story. That and I always have my protag marry a dark mage on my first playthrough.

I really hate Arthur's face.

@Waluigi: Ehhh... It's partly cause it doesn't fit the style the other characters have, his face is just shaped differently from their anime faces.

He is a very sweet guy tho and his son is my favorite child. Now my least favorite child is the abomination that is Leo's 'son'...

You cant hate the Chin of Justice! Percy is definitely the best kid. I benched Arthur though, because his hit
rate is abysmal.

I'm not very far into the game(Conquest), but my favorite unit so far is Niles or Arthur.

I think my favourite character might be Odin so far. But some others I like are Niles, Selena, Laslow, Mozu and Keaton.
Haven't gotten very many children characters yet though. I pretty much save their chapters if I need an extra grind.

Also "little red riding hood" seems interesting

Conquest Ch. 10 is pretty hard. It's a good level, but it's really frustrating and hard to complete. I keep getting wrecked on the last 3-4 turns. I'll probably have to reclass a couple characters.
