@yokokazuo: Yeah I got her immediately, she was already kind of weak to start with and she always takes a hard hit, the enemies go straight for her for some reason even if she's further away just to do 1hp more than someone closer ugh
Nope I did not bring Odin in. The implication that the DLC is "finished" once you do it once, but can replay it is odd to me It's like returning to the same moment in history again and again just to cause turmoil because it's funny. Buuuut if it's good for XP or rewards sometimes, I'll redo it here and there.
I'm having an issue trying to get Arthur and Gunther at A+, it's listed as an option so I imagine it's possible but after two hours of grinding relationship in other castles (something that works for every other relationship) they're not going any higher than A.
EDIT: I'm a dingus, you have to manually make them A+ once they achieve A ranking.
If you have Birthright, but you're playing Conquest in the download form, and you streetpass, does Birthright still show as the game being played because that's the cart that's in there? Lol no one will ever streetpass Revelations then...?
@yokokazuo
If you're female, you only miss out on kids by same-sex marriage. If you're a male, same-sex marriage or marrying one of the women from the pool(not Anna, two birthright characters and Flora.
Oh, edit: In Birthright, if you don't get to a certain rank with a character, they die, making you miss out on a child.
@DankyKong
I've heard Mozu as an archer is good, especially in Conquest. However, she's not as good as Donnel.
@rishisquid
Percy is the best kid. Kids should be less OP at the start, and not all of them are really good(so it'll take more time to make them OP). For some of them, you're better off using the parents.
@Eat_Pie: Which ones? All of them have both better skills than the parents and are mostly all higher levels. Are there any particularly bad ones I should avoid? I'm on Chapter 20 btw and everyone is at least lvl 5 in their advanced class.
@rishisquid
Dwyer(son of Jakob) and Hisame(Birthright, son of Hinata) are the notable ones. I'm not sure if you can make them serviceable, but it might be worth a shot. If you haven't recruited a kid, they level up the farther you get in the game, thus making them around the right level if you were to recruit them. You wouldn't need to grind them up to level. That's why your kids are high levels. Children in Fates are different than in Awakening; it'll take more work to make them OP.
I'm not sure if he's bad in Revelations, but Revelations has a ton of members, so you may find good parents for one of them.
I'm close to the end of Birthright, the story combined with my careless losses for some of my units definitely made this pretty unique from how I usually play Fire Emblem games as I always reset if I had a unit die during battle. Can't wait to reach the end so I can start focusing on Conquest!
Grinding in this is easier than almost any game ever. If you use Gold to buy more challenges, and step on sparkling spaces or even just when defeating enemies in those challenges, they almost always give 1000G+, it's like why bother making you pay for the challenge?
Chapter 12 in Birthright is gorgeous, especially in 3D
@Dankykong
Actually, grinding is harder. Maybe it's easier for money, but definitely not for your characters. You don't get as good of level ups as Awakening, and grinding is now more tedious and harder than it was. However, there's an alternative by "buying" skills, which is much faster than grinding.
@Operationgamer17
I don't think so. It's the same vocal minority who are dissatisfied with the localization and the Twitter campaign. It's not a scandal, and most people probably don't care.
DLC is out today. http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/miscellaneous/down...
Boo Camp, the XP map(useful for Nohr) has been released today alongside Beach Brawl. It's the only way of grinding experience in Conquest and gets harder as you progress. Beach Brawl gives you swimsuits.
Edit: Looking ahead, the Witch's mark DLC is going to be interesting. GF has been nerfed, but Witch's mark does a similar thing and is as broken as it sounds. Kids can now have Witch's mark instead of GF. I'm not sure if every female can get it and pass it down to their kids though.
