I picked this game up on a whim yesterday. I knew it wouldnt be like Harvest moon or other farming sims which have characters or storylines. The game Seems really neat. I managed to fill a trailer full of wheat and drive it across town to a Mill and empty the trailer. When I got back to the Farm I had no clue where to start since I had harvested all the wheat. You operate the farms machinery to Harvest the fields and Deliver product to market. It seems that you buy other fields later on. The town is pretty big and one thing I noticed was the Traffic of other cars while you deliver. So far its neat but I would have appreciated a Tutorial to lead me in the right direction. Cause after I harvested my fields I had no clue where to go from there. Anyone else know what to do? Do you just clear the fields and they auto grow? I was able to clear the fields after I harvested

I figured out how to seed the fields and buy farm equipment. I got a Bulletin saying I have driven the farm equipment more than 10 miles

Such is the life of being a farmer... Drink some moonshine, fix a fence, drench the sheep, manicure the illegal crop in the hills while waiting for for the legal crop to grow
You see a lovely field with a family having a picnic, and there's a nice pond in it. You fill in the pond with concrete, you plough the family into the field, you blow up the tree, and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife who's also your brother.

Now THAT should be the box cover tagline.

The game seems to have a 24 hour clock it goes from day to night. I don't know if im supposed to park my equipment at night or work 24 hours. I've been working through the night and day without rest. I need my union break LOL The game just doesn't give you any hint on what to do next. At the beginning there are a couple world of warcraft Icons on the equipment but other than that it throws you to the wolves

Last Night I had my Gate open on Animal Crossing for an hour. Nobody joined so I jumped off and started playing Farm Simulator 3d. You know what I found out? That's a great game! you Farm using all kinds of Machinery. I have finally figured out how to plant and harvest and buy new fields. Its totally cool. When you harvest your wheat you drive it to a facility across town. When the money starts kicking in there is a shop to buy new machinery. The game has no characters or storyline its just farming and its a winner. The graphics are not all that great they seem to dark grainy, but this is a fun little run through with lots to do all the time. Once you get your second tractor you are set on making some moola. One thing that really impresses me is the fact that when you choose a piece of machinery to do a job you can have it auto plow or harvest a field and it does it perfectly. You can move to another piece of machinery to do a different job while the other does the work for you. I will add more to this as I move on in this game but i'm having a blast with it. I hope when this gets reviewed the reviewer will give it time cause it takes a while to get going especially with basically no instructions or tutorial to get you going. Learning what each piece of Machinery does is the key to enjoying this title.

I have the game on PC and it's pretty neat. There's more stuff to do though, such as being able to get some livestock and you can plant potatoes and sugar beets. I too want the handheld version so I can play on the go, but I'm waiting for the Vita version which is supposed to come out June or July. I replied to a post of yours in the FS 3D section of this website but I guess you don't need to read it now as you figured out how to plant seeds already.
If you have a PC, I recommend Euro Truck Simulator 2 as well. I like it more than Farming Simulator as there's a business side to it (you can manage your own trucking company and hire drivers), and the world is huge. I find it to be very relaxing when you're driving over 900 miles delivering cargo to a distant city.
I have it since it was released in europe few years back and im playing it to this day. Its a great game, the only thing i dont like is that you can plant corn but you cant harvest it until you buy the special machinery thats very expensive. And there isnt any warning

Yeah that would be my only complaint as well. since I downloaded the game there is no instruction manual to help nor is there a very good tutorial built into the game but it has a great feel to it once you get things going. I have this feeling this is going to be a game that gets lost in the shuffle.
