Played it for 15 minutes. It's what pullblox should of been, it's awesome. It's also a lot harder now, I'm already struggling and I'm only on the second world.
Ya know, the first Pushmo(aka pullblox - I live in USA) never ever interested me from watching gameplay videos online that much and I love puzzles! However Crashmo(aka Fallblox) first trailer from eshop got me very very interested this time around. I'm not really sure why.....I thought pushmo looked great yet at the same time looked kinda basic for my taste.
Crashmo looks much more interesting with varied gameplay mechanics to open up more puzzle solving strategies.
Also at the moment, I am trying to make a decision as to what puzzle game I should get first.....
.....should I buy Crashmo or should I buy.....
.....Professor Layton Miracle Mask?
Hopefully someone here could give me insightful details about the differences/similarities of both games and what kind of puzzles both offer? Would very much appreciate this.

I may get, but can you control Mallo with the D-pad like in Pushmo? I don't want to use that cursed Slider, as using it in pushmo so much made it break.

Crashmo, here in the US, is fantastic. After only around 20 minutes I can tell I love this game. This is a sequel! This is a ****ing sequel! I just want to say getting the game was a bit of a nuisance for me. I had $9.25 left in my eShop account so I had to wait a while so I could add just 30 more cents! I hate tax. lol
First thing, for those of you worried about the price, it's worth it! I thought "whoa, what the?! Why is it more than Pushmo?", too. I still got it and it lives up to it's asking point. There's more levels (judgin by the level select screen), the levels last longer since they're harder, and the game is literally new. The new mechanics are great. It's way different and honestly a bit more fun than Pushmo. Not to mention the charm this game has.
If it helps anyone I'd also like to say this game, of all games on the console, this game is the first one where I can truly say 3D actually improves the experience and isn't just a gimmick. There were already a few puzzles where I was pushing blocks and I ended up moving another a way I didn't want to. I rewind and turn on the 3D effect and the depth helped me better see how far apart the blocks were. I actually said, "Oh, I wouldn't have made that mistake if the 3D was on." The puzzles are definitely more challenging because of the new gravity element. I've already gotten stuck on some puzzles. Figuring it out is fun and rewarding though.
The soundtrack may be limited but the first tune I've been hearing in the first few levels is so relaxing and pleasant that I don't mind. I recommended this game to everyone. Even more than Pushmo. And keep this part in mind: I HATE puzzle games. I think they're boring. I only give one a chance if it's different or has an attractive theme. The retro theme Pushmo had was what made me give it a chance. Snce Crashmo was the sequel to the game I enjoyed I went ahead and bought this. And as a guy who generally dislikes puzzle games, I love this one.
I love this game so far, can't wait to unlock the ladders and stuff so I can participate in the contest thread.

Absolutely awesome! As you all are aware, I LOVED Pushmo, to the point that I have played it regularly since it came out a year ago. According to my 3DS records I have played Pushmo for 176 hours since I got it. Naturally, I am absolutely loving Crashmo. For those of you with any doubts about either game, JUST LOOK AT ALL THE FEATURES. Not to mention the MASSIVE amount of user-made content available, makes this a game you can easily sink hours and hours into. Get either Crashmo or Pushmo, and I gaurantee you, you will want both! Crashmo does do a lot of things better and is more challenging, but the two are different enough that Pushmo is still a legitimate game in its own right, so all I can do is recommend BOTH of them for any fan of puzzle games or just any fan of games in general! IT'S AWESOME!
I just downloaded this last night and boy was I impressed. I have the first and thought it was fun but this one is even better. Before I knew it I was just less then 2hours in and somewhere on puzzle 40 something. If you didn't like the first one as much give this one a try as its different enough to make it new!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
