By the way, anyone knows how to get to that tree grotto? The one being guarded by 2 giant kangabunnies? I get a feeling that that's where I must go to complete a quest (just a guess) but it's impossible to sneak past these things!
It's possible to slay them in the demo, but it's a little tough. There's no reason to fight them however. You can't enter the place they're guarding in the demo.
Yeah, I noticed that too late.... The tree I was looking for wasn't there at all...
But! I found out that they really love carrots, even poisonous ones, so that's a better option than fighting them.
Played about one hour's worth of the demo. I chose normal mode and ducked out of the first mission after a couple rounds of mining to heal and save the game because it was getting late. This is my first experience with the EO series. I love the music and art style! This game will take me forever to finish. I play super slow and really focus on the mapping. I do enjoy the mapping aspect because it tends to sooth my O.C.D tendencies like only a JRPG can. This will be a day one purchase for me.

I played Normal and Casual. I couldn't see a noticeable difference. I think I'll end up going with Casual mode if there's a chance it will save me time level grinding later on in the game.
I'm liking the demo so much I'm afraid I will run out of uses by the time the game comes out. I still have like 23 but still want to get all characters to level 10 and get all the items I can before the real deal hits. Btw are you ready to swap friend codes again. You know where mine is.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I'm in the same boat...I try to only play it when I have a lot of time as I don't want to burn through the demo tries.
Not being an @$$...once I leave work and go home I have little to no gaming time. I'm a commuter (and lunch break) gamer. And late weekend nights has been for ZombiU. My friends list is empty and will likely stay that way...I'm focusing more on family life as I easily get caught in focusing on electronics at home.
Well I do understand that so ill respect your wishes and stop bothering you about it.
I just reached the end of the demo and it sucks we can't go any further down. I wanted better equipment but it is a demo after all. I guess ill have to fight that angry baboon a while longer till I level enough to see if I can take down the foes!

Well considering I spent way too much time sailing in the last I would say I love it. Helps that its part of the actual game this go around. I'm going to max out all I can so ill be ready to go further down when the demo comes out. If I can beat some foes and get really good equipment ill be happy! How about you. How do you feel about it?

I'm enjoying it alot...although I've spent too much time flying around gathering stuff. I do like that it is integrated with the gameplay more than the sailing.
I do want to max out on leveling and getting as much equipment as possible so I can hit the ground running when the game arrives.
