Walk on the disappearing blocks to destroy them, once they all are gone DK falls down.

Is there any difference between this and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong? They look like the same game to me.

I got this the other day from Club Nintendo, great game so far! Its frustrating at times though.

Even with all of the great publicity I'd heard about Donkey Kong '94, I was still on the fence about getting it. But now that I've actually played it (thanks to Club Nintendo), I finally see what all the fuss has been about. It's a very impressive puzzle-platformer.

However could gamers in 1981 complete this game without the help of internet forums?

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

got it through club nintendo. Looking good. My first VC title for 3DS. Still not sure if I prefer the small screen with gameboy border, in green or in black.

Didn't beat it in 1981, but I was able to beat this without the internet.

Gaming before the Internet age was rough. They did have those Nintendo counselors you could call up, but I forget how much that cost per minute, and I never did it myself.

It's a very cool option to have, but I have a hard time playing VC games with the Game Boy border on. It just makes the screen too tiny for me.

@RevolverLink, why do you say that, is it possible to play GB VC titles without the border present? I'm FINALLY about to receive a 3DS of my own soon, so I know nothing about these options.

I have enough coins left in my Club Nintendo account, so should this game definitely be an automatic download for me?

The default resolution fills the screen and looks sightly blurry, by pressing select while starting the game you can play it in 1:1 resolution, the GB border fills the screen in that mode, but it looks awfully small. Some like it, though.

I am seriously thinking about downloading this game from Club Nintendo today. Is it as good as the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong series?? Maybe a little more simple??

I like it better than the first MvsDK. They use pretty much the same engine on both games, but this one just feels better.

It's approximately six hundred trillion times better.

Cool. Will be downloading this finally. Sounds like a not very well known gem.

Nope. Its a very well known game and widely acknowledged as one of the best on the GB.
