Topic: Does the street pass work in hawaii?

I was just curious if the street pass would work in hawaii being its an island kind of far from the mainland. where there is better support.

Provided your 3DS is functioning normally and has the battery power for StreetPass, there isn't any reason why it wouldn't work in Hawaii.

Nope nothing Nintendo works in Hawaii only Sony and MS stuff.

I don't think you get many street passes,as many people will hardly be wearing any clothing.
Bikini's and Trunks will be the order of the day.

Once you reach Hawaii, your 3DS shuts off, the 3DS doesn't work in Hawaii.

Nothing works properly on Hawaii. Remember, that's where LOST was filmed and they had all sorts of issues there......issues regarding time, location, and weird/random happenings. There's no way a 3DS can function there. D:

There's more interesting things in Hawaii,than weather you'll get Streetpass'd or not.

As others have already stated, yes — StreetPass is reliant on other 3DS systems being in range of your own. Doesn't matter where in the world you are, so long as two 3DS systems are near one another, they will be able to StreetPass. :3
