Oh yeah whenever I find some gold, iron, diamonds, etc, I always end up digging up like 80 of them in the same place. It's like super generous with them, when you do find them.
They need more weapons...I want to murder many innocent animals and other things with other things besides a sword, even if they just had a bow & arrows it would change it up.
Well to be fair survival mode is more or less completely useless right now, even more so than in minecraft.
There's absolutely no reason to do anything. You don't need a house, you don't need a place to store your items or somewhere to go back to craft items. You don't even need to sleep at night. Even if you want to build in survival, you can't use all the blocks the game has available.
If you don't have any reason to build anything in a minecraft clone, then you have no reason to play.
I hope they'll polish it with the updates. Thankfully creative mode is worth the price.
I love Creative Mode. This is Link's House from LTTP, I'm planning on building the whole map.
Edit: Forgot other screeny. I had to use lava inside glass as a lap in the house.
I doubt it all will fit in one map, but I think that's a great project!
Yeah, I know that already and have a plan already. I was kinda stretching it when I said the whole map. I'm going to shrink some areas that not really important or cut them entirely. For example most of the in between areas in Hyrule. (It still probably won't fit all into one map, it'll probably take up 2 or 3)
I changed a few things to the land in the last screenshot I posted. The cliffs have more details. I also put diamonds under the bushs to replace rupees.
Daddy do you want some Sausage?

Btw: just in case you don't know, if you stand still some seconds, the game can render the whole area in front of you, it can even render the full map.
Edit:
I've been going a bit Sim City with my current creative map.
I hope they brighten up the night cycle at some point. Right now I've basically stopped playing, even though I really want to play, because I simply can't see what I'm doing at night unless I'm playing in an extremely dark room.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
We’re excited to finally announce that our free Cube Creator 3D V1.1 update is in lot check awaiting approval by Nintendo. The approval process typically takes 30 days. Once approved, we’re given a release date that we can pass along to you so you can update your game right away upon release.
Now, onto the exciting part: the new goodies in the update…
We’ve added two new environments which we’re calling Fantasia and Inferno; Fantasia features massive multi-colored trees sprouting from a rolling landscape, and Inferno boasts a lava-filled atmosphere surrounded by a rocky, mountainous terrain with floating basalt islands above.
The two new environs also feature new enemies which we’ll announce with screenshots very soon; they will certainly make your survival quest more challenging. With regard to blocks, we’ve added three new block types: marble, basalt (volcanic rock), and purple leaves. In Survival Mode, you’ll be able to collect these other block types: light and dark tree wood (wood planks crafted from tree wood), and coal and diamond ore (coal and diamond crafted from ore).
We’re excited about the eight new Texture Packs we’ve added in the update as well; these different texture packs will give your Cube Creator 3D experience a stunning, new makeover. We’ll reveal each of them with screen shots in the next several days, too.
We’ve got new music built into this update, too. Each world comes with a different selection of tracks.
This update also incorporates the use of ladders. Players can now ascend walls with the use of ladders, instead of having to build steps/stairs. Grass will now spread to other nearby grass in the update. Liquid cube editing is also enhanced: water and lava can be targeted/stacked/removed directly.
The performance of the game is improved with the update. Players can fly faster and add/subtract cubes faster in Creative Mode. Players can now customize their Survival Mode campaign; they can select which four worlds they’d like to explore at the start, including saved Creative environments. Players will also be able to transfer worlds between Creative and Survival Mode.
Sounds really good so far. Notably, with the basalt block, we'll finally have a black block to work with. Maybe. At last I hope it will be black?
Can I ask people what the main survival mode thing is like? Same as minecraft? If I already own minecraft on the vita, is there any reason to buy this?
I personally wasn't too impressed with this survival mode, hopefully it'll get better eventually.
You basically just have to manually and slowly collect things if you want to build, but there's no much incentive for doing things.
There's not much you can do outside of buildings or pixel art. Right now there's no taking care of animals, growing plants or anything too interactive like in minecraft.
Your inventory has space to hold everything you can collect (and you can't create storage containers like chests), in addition to that monsters are more than capable of spawning inside buildings, so there's no real reason to build a shelter for your character.
The one goal you can achieve is building the transporter to visit other environments, but that's pretty easy.
The creative mode is rather good though and it will be improved eventually with new colors and blocks. So if you want a building game on your 3DS, then this is a good option.
