This game is phenomenal! Like, totally out of nowhere too! I was honestly expecting a good, not great but good game, about on par with what Legend of Legacy turned out to be.
What we got instead is the best SRPG I've ever played aside from Fire Emblem. Heck I almost like Stella Glow as much as Awakening! This game is SO. FREAKING. GOOD!
Time to spread the word. This was a low key release and I think a lot of people are overlooking it. And this is quite easily the best 3DS game I've played all year.

@Spoony_Tech:
Relatively early in the game. I literally JUST cleared the mission where Lisette gets her power and Hilda and Dante "withdraw" after the soldiers show up.
I was playing Rise of the Tomb Raider every day until I played the beginning of this the day it arrived. I liked it so much I've slowly phased out Tomb Raider entirely. Been working 10-12 shifts too, but it's gotten to the point I even played for 15 min this morning before leaving for work (at like 5am lol).
It's gripped me totally. Just like Awakening did 3 years ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but don't the conditions in a tuning state you can't fail? I know it did for the first tuning and even for Popo's tuning. Unless they're different when you do it to get rid of the heart chains... ?
I'm on chapter 3 now myself- 11 hours in and it's just getting better and better. Amazing how similar this game is with Awakening- in SO many respects- the style, the intro (flash of the future you'll play in the endgame), the dating sim like mechanics, support conversations, adjacent square buffs, even the visual style itself. Not to mention the fact Image Epoch was going under and this, like Awakening, was their "last game". Only for them, it really did turn out to be their last game.
Someone should write an article on that. Especially considering how good this game is in comparison to the lauded Awakening. I'd rank it pretty dang close (I know in actuality Awakening was much better yet somehow, I'm enjoying this almost just as much!)

I don't remember the part where it said you cant fail. If thats true then what happens if you select the wrong answers in the tuning? I've only selected one wrong answer thus far and that was for Popo.
Anyways, I'm enjoying this nice long break the game just gave me. It's almost as if they knew it was time for a lengthy break.
Ok, i just finished an awesome story involving the Gueen! Great story writing in this one.
I'm just going to keep editing this post lol. I just now noticed something I never did before. When selecting someone to talk to at the barracks it will show you what the next skill is that unlocks. Wish I would've seen that before lol.
So I managed to get the last Launch edition copy here. I was surprised to see it was available here.
The downside is I will get it next Friday, but i cant wait to play the game!
Always liked LA2, and this seems close to it.
Also dunno what to do with the launch edition bonuses. The Keychain is too huge, and the CD just have 5 songs, but I;m hoping they're the good ones.
Also about the cloth wallpaper, dunno either, as is the first time I see one lol. Seems like a handkerchief :v

@Gridatttack: Ask yourself if you like Amine theme songs because that what you're getting here. The 3 I've listened to are also quite lengthy as well. Over 4 minutes. I really like what I've heard thus far.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@LztheQuack: Hot springs? Is that part of the main story or a side conversation? I do believe it's real as well. Until you just mentioned it I had forgot about it. It was mentioned one other time I do believe. I'm only on chapter 6 btw (nearing the end at least), how far are you?

Heh, Somehow I expected that the hot springs scenes would return. I cant help but feel like SG is an alternate universe of Luminous Arc 2 with different characters.
I wonder, does the hot spring scenes are triggered like in LA2?
@LztheQuack: Was that the first conversations or like the 4th? I realized the talking to everyone at least once was more important then doing jobs and exploring. Wish I could take those 5 to 6 times back now. Unlocking those skills are far more important. Still I wish we had more then 3x for free time. Haven't seen more yet.
