Topic: Anyone have a giant AR card?

Was just looking in the club nintendo rewards and noticed this item is unavailable now. i kinda wish i had one to try out, would make the ar games pretty cool and easier to play i guess. i think i never got it because there isn't much for ar games right now.

did anyone here order one of these? just wondering how it was. maybe i'll just make my own giant one for now...

Oh, yeah! I have one of those! It also had a Mario side, in addition to the Mii side. As for playing AR games... it surprisingly worked well. I mean, there were a few issues here and there, but other than that, it worked fine.

I got one from a magazine called Nintendo Gamer (which shut down the exact time as Nintendo Power, coincidence? I THINK NOT) and it's on my wall right nown:P

I've got a giant AR card poster that was given away with an issue of Official Nintendo Magazine awhile ago only used a few times but it seemed to work well.

As @6ch6ris6 said, printing one out on a larger sheet of paper seems like the better option to me, as then you can spend those coins on games or other prizes (like those screensavers, better get 'em while they're in stock ).

maybe i will just print out a page sized one. does anyone know if black and white will work or does it have to be colour?

@supermario182: My assumption is that it has to be color... but I'm not certain.

EDIT: well, actually, the cameras are able to pick up certain colors as displayed in the AR fishing game (special "fish" will appear if the card is on top of a surface of a certain color), so the card most likely has to be in color, too.

well i printed off a black and white version, so if it doesnt work i'll just try colouring it in lol
