Great. Who knows what the future might hold Oregano
Yes we also think that online leaderboards adds a crucial replay value. Besides global leaderboards, there should also be friends leaderboards.
Oh man! This sounds AWESOME so far! Online leader boards? And if this sells well there's a possibility for another racing game? You guys got a day one buy right here.
@Retro_on_theGO
Yep online leaderboards
Yes it's definitely possible that we'll make another racing game in the future. Nothing's sure yet though. As you said, firstly we focus on AiRace Speed
For those who played both, which one did you prefer? AiRace or AiRace: Tunnel.
Of course I understand this question isn't so easy to answer because AiRace was more expensive and more sophisticated than AiRace: Tunnel. But taking the prices into consideration, which one do you like most?
Hi there, I'm resurrecting this thread to inform that AiRace Speed is coming out on September 19th! @Chris720 Sorry for the delay!
I have updated the first post of the thread with this same information. I figured it's better to keep talking on the same thread as some of you already commented since I opened it in February.
Download it from the eShop for 4,99$, 4,99€ or £4,49 and let your Nintendo 3DS™ discover the true meaning of speed and adrenaline.
I hope you don't mind that I'm marketing our game here. Mostly I want to inform you guys and have the chance to hear your reactions and answer all your questions.
Will game play be much easier too control this time around?
I think that the first one wasn't so bad, but that was only because I was just going through a Tunnel, but the 2nd one, racing was a major pain due too the fact that I should couldn't keep up with the AI.
@Robo-Knight What do you mean by easier gameplay? Less hard challenge? If it's the case well I am afraid to tell you hat AiRace Speed gets very challenging if you go full speed. But at least there is no AI trying to get you down and finish before you on the line. So your only enemy is yourself, the more you crash, the slower you are, and the worse your scores are going to be.
Ah...! That's why I always crashed/lost alot, I'm sorry about that, I do tend too be a kluts with some Racing Games sometimes. Other than that, I'm looking forward too buying this Game.
But is this a Racing Game or is it just like AIRace Tunnel?
i dont underestimate the human brain but i played airrace tunnel it became very difficult after 1000km/h or so. and those tunnels werent nearly as complex as those in the trailer above.
how does it work out if you have contact to an obstacle? can you explode like in airrace tunnel?
@6ch6ris6
You're right, it is difficult. In AiRace Speed, what happens to your jet when you hit an obstacle depends on how you hit it. If you hit frontly you'll crash, even at slow speed, but if you hit with your side you might slide on it or be pushed, it also depends on the shape of the obstacle. But yeah definitely you can explode, like at the end of the Gameplay Trailer.
@icerazor
We are interested into continuing the AiRace series, on 3DS and/or maybe on other platforms. So, it's not impossible that something similar to AiRace Speed would one day be avaialbe on Wii U. But we'll see what the future holds, there's nothing set.
@Spanish_Bread
I have no idea. I could ask the Game Producer or the CEO of QubicGames and let you know if I get the info. I don't even know if they know that.
@QubicGames
i asked that because i'm just curious if it can still be saved to my memory card's remaining space around 3000 blocks as far as i remember... or should i upgrade now to 4gb or 8gb XD
