Not... not fair. There should be a refund system or something. I downloaded the demo and it bought the game! That was the full $15 dollars on something I probably was not going to buy.

Well at least you can give us some impressions. Sorry to here it did that to you but I'm sure it promt you that 14.99 would be charged. I can't for the life of me see you dl'ing the demo and getting the full game and being charged. I would contact Nintendo and tell them they have this problem.

I think I see what happened. I used the touchscreen (thank you SMT4 for that) for the eShop and when I went to press download demo, I must have pressed purchase by accident. Well I suppose this is a good chance to give an opinion on a new and relatively unheard of game. This is what happens when you have a large amount of credit just sitting in your account so you are not warned of a purchase.
I'm downloading it right now because I already decided I would get it after playing the demo so I couldn't wait any longer. I'm sure I'll like it, I'll leave some impressions after I play for a little bit.
I've played a little bit of Aetrnoblade it's a decent Metroidvania style game, though if your not that much of fan of Metroidvania (which I am a big fan of Metroidvania games) type games I wouldn't get it or at least wait for a sale.
I honestly don't understand a developers thinking sometimes. If you price it right it will sell more then at the higher price. Do you want to sell say 50,000 copies at say 7.99 or 5000 copies at 14.99 do the math people and get the price right. Unless they know it will eventually go on sale and sell more and they're marking up the price to try and get those early sales from day one buyers but i don't think there will be too many of those.
So after completing the second area I will give my opinion on the game so far before a review. I did not try the demo (for obvious reasons) but I assume it is just the first area, in which case that is a bad representation of the game. It gets much better after the first area. More enemy variety, more puzzles, larger map, etc. with many rooms to explore for treasure or shortcuts. It seems much better than Castlevania Mirror of Fate honestly (admittedly only tried the demo for that but I heard it never really improves). The combat is a little repetitive but again after the first area it becomes less of a problem, especially once your skills are expanded. A minor gripe with the main character design is the unnecessary side boob. The review on Destructoid says the story takes five hours to beat but unless you really just go straight through (you get an idea of the right way to go) I do not see how it can take only five hours but the story does not seem like it will be amazing, just interesting enough to not be bored with it.

Did you not read the order confirmation page?

No, when I assumed I pressed the demo I was not checking it. A bad move I know but I was on a buying spree at the time. I got so many Level 5 games.

chirp chirp I want to know too, if the game worth the 14.99. . .U_U
I'm just going to go ahead and tell you it straight: It's not worth it whatsoever. I'd post my review telling you why it's not, but I have no idea if that's going against community rules. That said, while HarmoKnight was steep enough at this price, one could make the argument the quality made up for its brevity. Aeternoblade is utterly criminal. It's a lengthy title unlike the former, but it lacks any form of quality or enjoyability. It's glitchy, sounds terrible, looks awful given the production values and completely squanders a time mechanic that was done much better in Ubisoft's Prince of Persia, among other titles.
Also, as it's been mentioned before, pricing a game as high as this on the eShop was a regrettable decision, as not only does its quality not match its price, but its price will turn away more potential customrs who might be able to overlook the game's flaws if it was priced more fairly (And yes, I say that about a game that I do feel is fairly priced for what it offers, Shantae: Risky's Revenge). That's not even taking into account the additional DLC (Fan service and Arena mode) that tallies up the total price to $18.
In short: No. In long: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Aeternoblade is not worth your money or your, ahem, time.
Wait this game has dlc???? and already? That's going to tick even more people off. How is that not part of the 14.99 dl is beyond me. I still want it but for no more then 7$ so that's more then half off. I can wait as my back log is like 2-3 years long!
