Here's a new thread about games only available in stores that you'd like to see on the 3DS eShop as a downloadable! Here's my list:

Am I missing anything? What retail games that are currently retail only would you like to see on the 3DS eShop? If not, talk about these games missing from the eShop.

Just pointing out KIU has a very low probability of going DLable because Project SORA has been disbanded.

If they Sold Steel Diver for $5 on the eshop, I'd be more than inclined to get it. Also an Ace Combat: Assault Horizon DL rerelease with enabled CPP support will get me interested in the series, it worked with Nano assault.

wouldn't it be amazing being able to download every DS/3DS game there is via the Nintendo eShop?
and likewise every wii/wii u game available for download

As long as they are available at competitive priced (e.g., not £10 over what I can get off Amazon as most games are now), I'd be more than happy to have every 3DS retail game on the eShop.

Ones I would add to that list would be:
Angry Birds Trilogy
Tetris Axis

@3Dash Well it's really up to Nintendo since they own the Kid Icarus franchise and can do whatever they want with it.

@MultiMariosonic They own it, but that doesn't mean anything because SORA is disbanded. Trust me.

I'd double dip at that price just to have a digital version. Love that game.

I'd also love to see Tetris Axis, Angry Birds and Spirit Camera on there, but only if they're all reasonably priced at $20 or less.

-Mario Kart DS
-Zelda Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks
-Advance Wars Dual Strike

Oh yeah Cave Story 3D. Even though we have a version of Cave Story on the 3DS eShop, it's still not Cave Story 3D.

Spirit Camera will never happen, as you need the AR book to even play it.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is highly unlikely, since SORA has been disbanded, and since you're supposed to get the stand & AR cards with a new copy.

Cave Story 3D is highly unlikely as well. If I'm not mistaken, it has less content than the eShop version, so it'd be pointless.

I'll also say that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance probably won't become digital as well. Again, you're supposed to get AR cards with a new copy, and Birth by Sleep was one of the few PSP games never to be released on PSN.

THIS. Downloadable DS games would be totally awesome. There's a huge library of great games that, if sold at reasonable prices, I'd be more than willing to buy.

Pretty much every 3DS game. I live in Macedonia, and apart from 3-4 popular titles that are sold in stores, the eShop is the only way for me to buy all those popular titles.

I would love to see a WiiWare title made for 3ds with online play. 3dPixel racing would be a perfect candidate for a WiiWare to 3ds conversion. It got ripped by reviewers for the motion only controls but if people,would have given the game fair shake they would see for a change that they are perfect. I'm anti motion control and I like it better than any other motion controlled game including the zeldas. I really don't care much to see retail games brought to the Shop. The more they bring, the closer we get to the death of the cartridge.

It's a shame that Kid Icarus: Uprising is unlikely to ever be released digitally, because it's one of very few games that I'd really like to have on my system forever.
That, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing.
Probably won't spend the money to download Mario Kart unless they release Kid Icarus which allows me to have all four.
