I have only played the 3DS demo of it but own the Wii version. It is an incredible game worth your time and money. No two levels are the same and the platforming never got stale. Personally I felt the controls to be a little odd on the 3DS but I think you will get used to it. If you have never played it before then stop reading and get it NOW!!!

Rayman Origins is a gaming pinnacle IMO. If you haven't played it, I highly, highly recommend you do so immediately. As for the 3DS version, I have not played it. (I played the Wii version) If you have a Vita, though, I would suggest getting that version instead, since it's going to have trophies, and be on the Vita's amazing screen.

This game is the new generation of 2d games 2nd only to DKCR imo. If you have a wii or any other option then its probably cheaper there. If this is your only option I thought the 3ds demo was good enough to get the experience. Like the others have said excellent game you need to play!

@Coldfirex44 MH:U is a sure bet. HoR is ok but doesn't have much staying power. Honestly the world is yours if you just got this system. Sooo much you could choose from. I would say you can't go wrong with any of the top 20 3ds games!

Would not recommend the 3ds version the art has been sadly compressed so that it loses most of it's charm. Definitely pick it up on a system though.

@OldMan-Tech thank you and yeah i know XD I had a Gameboy Color, Advance, and an Advance SP.. I also had a DS Lite and a DSi and I didn't get the 3DS because I knew that Nintendo would soon make a new game system.. like what they did to the DSi they made a DSi XL a year or so later. AND YEAHHH I'm planning to trade in my DSi at Gamestop, do you know any other trade-in stores that offers more than what gamestop does? ($45+)

I need some advice between code princess and etrain odyssey IV. I planned to get the collector's edition but don't know which to get... Wish there was a demo for code princess.. Oh we'll.. Anyway which one should I get?

Thoughts?

Feel free to add

I like Code of Princess a lot, but if I had to choose one of those too, I'd go with Etrian Odyssey. It's a great game with a lot more to see and do than what Code of Princess offers. I hate to say it, but there's just not enough to Code of Princess to make it worth the extra money, and its value won't hold quite as well as Etrian Odyssey's.

Yes. It's a fun game and a true successor to Guardian Heroes, but it's just too short to spend any more than $20-$30 on, honestly. Really, it only lasts a few hours if you don't spend too much time grinding/doing challenge quests.

May I ask, do any of you, who likes strategy and adventure games, recommend Animal crossing: new leaf?

I am a big fan of strategy and adventure games and someone asked me to try a peaceful game for once =/
I heard a lot of compliments about it but I am not convinced since I have never played this kind of games =)

It is not a strategy or adventure game. It is more of a sims game. I tried it out and I like it but it is not for everyone.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf gives you tons of space to carve out your own virtual existence. If that power and "malleability" appeals to you in some form, it could be a pleasant surprise.
