@ziaram: I recommend putting your 3DS friend code in your signature so it will be easier for people to add you. When you log in to Nintendo Life click on Edit Profile, go to Signature and type in your 3DS friend code then save. Hope this helps.

You can't use Swapnote unless you both register your Friend Codes on the 3DS.
They really need to add a "accept and deny" request system to make things easier
