@iKhan: Not the case for amiibo Festival. That was made by N-cube rather than the Nintendo EPD team that usually works on the Animal Crossing series. That EPD group was actually busy with Splatoon's development.
Lately none of the games nintendo have been showing has interest me(Not that the games are bad but they just arent my type). Fire Emblem Fates and Tokyo Mirage Sessions # FE are the only two games they have shown which interest me but I already know everything about those games so it doesn't even matter.
I hope Nintendo brings out some new stuff at E3(I dont mean new IPs but just different games in general)
Playing: Wargroove on Switch and Fire Emblem on GBA
@Whitewatermoose You do realize that Pokken releases on the Wii U this month right? Unless you mean releasing on the NX "in the future" as well, because the NX isn't launching this month.

I think Nintendo originally did have plans for the Splatoon team to work on a full Animal Crossing game, but they got scrapped and replaced when they decided to move on to NX. Nintendo had already created models for the Animal Crossing Mii Plaza thing, and it was heavily rumored they were working on a Wii U Animal Crossing.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
@iKhan: yeah I bet that too. Wouldn't be surprised if the next main game is a first year nx title. But I think without a shadow of doubt, a new Nintendo home console will be hitting store shelves this November. 3DS just doesn't look like a system getting replaced this year.
@Whitewatermoose: I don't think so, if Nintendo pulled that there'd be alot of seriously furious indie developers calling them out. Indies just can't afford to remake nearly finished products for another console and believe me they'd be pee'd off.
I also find it interesting some Nindies are no longer mentioned. Gunscape, Kerbal, 90's arcade racer, Castlevania style game. Just nothing, were these quietly canceled for NX?
They can't advertise every game. There was no Armikrog on there, doesn't mean it isn't coming
Summary: "Here's a game we talked about in the past 9 Nintendo directs, here's a lot of DLC, if you pre order the DLC you'll get this exclusive Best Buy DLC for your DLC early access DLC Amiibo. Lastly we assure you that Federation Force doesn't suck and isn't a cash grab... Seriously."
The more I think about the SNES games being on the new 3DS, the more flabbergasted I feel.
I absolutely do NOT believe they would be unable to offer cross-buy on SNES virtual console games. It is a deliberate choice, and a disappointing one too.
The new account system may have launch a few months ago however, I have been using my NNID on both my 3DS and Wii U prior to this new system.
What's their excuse this time?
The last thing I purchase on my 3DS and Wii U was some time before Christmas, and it will remain like this until I see some kind of fundamental progress in their way, way long overdue unified account system.
@Peek-a-boo: The Japan MyNintendo situation seems to suggest even with that there's no crossbuy. Owning Mother 2 (Earthbound) on Japan Wii U VC means nothing for the New 3DS VC version.
@OneBagTravel: I don't think you understand what microtransactions are. Buying EXP boosts in the latest Assassin's Creed game or buying a premium currency in the latest Uncharted and Halo games or 99% of mobile games are microtransactions, because they're potentially infinite. Buying a game, no matter how much or how many times one has bought it isn't microtransactions. It's buying a game.
@TingLz: not the most outlandish or reactionary thing I've seen so far but whatever I guess. Can't believe the lengths people are going to in other threads due to their frustrations.
They're treating their legacy titles as micro-transactions now, which is do sappointing as a Nintendo fan. I'm not going to buy the same game multiple times.
As LastLugia says, wrong choice of word perhaps, but I totally get what you are saying.
To think that they are more than happy to sit back and watch the same games being purchased on the Wii, the DS, the Wii U and the 3DS time and time again without allowing us to play across multiple systems is genuinely unheard of in this day and age.
When you can download Apps across iPad, iPhone and iPod touch as well as cross-buy games on the PSP, PlayStation 3, PS Vita and the PlayStation 4, it doesn't inspire me to buy any more Virtual Console games until a unified account system is (finally) put into place.
My predictions about Rhythm Heaven never ever being localised were wrong but I was right about there being a new Kirby. I loved Triple Deluxe and this one seems to follow the same formula.
My opinion about Federation Force hasn't changed since last time.
We're just 3 months away from E3 and it feels this was the last 3DS/Wii U focused Direct. I think we may have a mini-direct or game specific direct in may or so and then finally an E3 direct with Zelda and the Nintendo NX in June.
The 3DS has a pretty great lineup this year but I feel the portable is on its last legs. Many of the announced games were just late localizations, Kirby is reutilizing the same engine as Triple Deluxe, and FF doesn't seem to use a great budget for instance.
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
I liked what I saw. I like the Wii U line up till summer. It may be the best first half actually. I still hope Wii U will still have more games upcoming and wont be ended with no support in the latter half. NX can go, itself
