I predict it'll be a super effective move against an opponent, or possibly that it randomly pulls type from other learned moves (like Sleep Talk). Based on absolutely no sources whatsoever.

@d-slice I was actually thinking the same thing. Either it’ll be a Mystery Tera that pulls from your existing moves, a complete Random generator Tera, or it could be Anti-Tera much like the moves used in Sw/Sh by Zac/Zam/Etern which hit Dynas for 200%

I wrote something similar and people actually started defending the performance etc. It's worrying how many people just accept a bad game and I doubt it'll ever get fixed.

I suspect it's like Arceus' ability: you can pick it or hold an item to pick it.

@NinjaNicky It's not so bad if you don't play it on a 4k 65' TV. It's still better than some of the old games too, which had huge lag inside battles (especially double battles).

@NinjaNicky Pokémon fans can't accept the fact that Scarlet and Violet were terribly built and have to pretend like they're great games lol.

think there was a theory it'd be like a ultraburst, a fake mega evolution. i would've guessed it'd boost both stabs and not do its usual effect but why would it juice up terra blast and somehow have it be neutral to dragonite? does it turn into a neutral z-move?

@ancientlii I reckon offensively, it gives the user STAB on every type, replicating the boost that a Tera Type gives. So moves of your base and Tera Type get super strong, moves of your Tera Type that aren't your base type get STAB.

I think this'll be Omni-STAB from an offensive side, and just make Tera Blast a mini-nuke that's neutral.

Defensively though....I have no idea.

@Joker1234 I can trash Gens 7 and 8 all day long and still play Scarlet all the time and greatly enjoy it. People having different opinions from you aren't lying about it.

@Lizuka It's quite sad that you people have come to accept mediocre content instead of trying to push for something better. If you think technical and graphical messiness is fun than I truly feel bad for you because you can get something of better quality.

@Dm9982 I definitely like the idea of an anti-tera type move to make it strategic on when you transform.

@JohnnyMind the idea was good but I see these two games as a practice run. I think GameFreak were way over their head and they should have spent another year sorting the game out. I liked playing it but once I got past the whole childhood dream of being able to wander around the world of Pokémon, the performance, graphics and almost dead open world became more apparent. The only thing I'm really disappointed in is the fact they don't seem to care about fans and they're bothering to fix the performance issues etc.
I hope they've learned their lesson and release an amazing Pokémon game on the switch 2 in 2025.

@Joker1234 It's not like I don't recognize that the game is janky and poorly structured with graphics that would've looked years out of date a decade ago. It's just that I still find it fun regardless and think complaints about the framerate in a turn-based RPG are largely pointless because it's not like it makes any actual difference to how the game plays anyway.

If it’s not a way to get special transformations that we lost from Gen 6 & 7; I could care less.

@Joker1234 I enjoyed SV in terms of gameplay, but hate how they were handled on a technical aspect. It's why I didn't purchase the DLC, and the only reason I'm even getting it is due to a friend gifting it to me. Outside of that though, I'm not a fan of people who go around like this and state that those who enjoy the games are an issue. It's their money, they can do what they want with it. Just like you can do what you want with your own. No need to go around pointing the finger at people and acting as if they're inferior for enjoying the game itself.

@Lizuka Yeah, like I hate every time the world pops out of existence, and then pops back in a second later, or how things in the distance looks like a muddied mess. However, that didn't take away the enjoyment I had for the gameplay itself in spite of that. One can be pleased with the core of the game and enjoy that, along with the ideas presented, whilst also being upset or critical about the technological issues or glitches that plague the experience as a whole. I'm kind of tired of people who think you're either on their side or a bootlicker for the company, instead of just understanding that some people might find elements of a game that they enjoy, even if the game is a mess.

@JohnnyMind I do kindof wish we still had the old main line games that were 2D. Not that I hate 3D but I feel the 2D games were just better than our 3D games we've been getting.

Wake me up when they decide to return to their franchises classic roots that made them special and succesful instead of making half finished "open world" games just so they can fit in with literally what everyone else is doing. Oh that's not gonna happen? RIP Zelda and Pokemans.
